I had the exact same surgury about 8 years ago!! On both knees... It's a quick and pretty painless surgery (compared to an ACL or MCL). Not many scars depending on how good of a surgeon you have. I only have three small holes in both knees. I have worse scars from all my other sports! Recovery time is also not bad...I think about 1-2 months. I didn't run for awhile afterwards...Be patient and don't rush into anything too quickly. I know it'll be hard not too, but it'll pay off in the end. You will be totally fine!!!

The problem is most people dont deal with these things, they just run ahead and drop them. Only to have them slowly manifest in the minds and in there souls, causing them become heavier and heavier, and have major self issues.... Taking the time and allowing your self to morn is a good thing. Not doing that just makes matters worse in the long run, i know cause i tried that once, and i'm still recovering from the damage. Yup! 100% agree. Taking time is absolutely critical before you are able to love agian. It's knowing and recognizing that. And its the recovery period where you find the most "gems". Where we learn about ourselves, our character, etc. Feeling pain is a good thing, Just as long as you let go when the time is right.. letting go, can bring amazing opportunities in all facets of life.

I could write a novel too! I have dreams weekly of me having malfunctions and landing in entirely different states. My last dream was of the world ending...but instead of the "locus" falling from the sky, it was skydivers crashing into the ground as the earth turned pitch black. Very very distrubing dream! Mainly b/c the people that were crashing into the ground were friends!!! Dream interpertation please!!!! (btw, I see you're from MN!! I grew up in Burnsville moved to Cali 5 years ago. I'll be home in July...would love to jump with your crew!!

Ummm, well, for me...it's the eyes, butt, and legs! I need a guy that can get out there and run around with me versus sitting on the couch smoking crack all night, so being in somewhat good shape is important (for me). But not every girl needs that!! Oh, and better have a good clue how to fish too! Bait their hook and clean with the best of em'!!!
