The Four Horsemen Approach - Slate Magazine Slams Michael Moore
Cudlo replied to a topic in Speakers Corner
Having not bothered to go see the movie I am not sure if i can really comment ont his. But, as for Moore's rapid responce team of fact finders and lawyers, what does he need fact finders for? If he presented a true objective documentary, he must have done the research on what he was presenting right? but maybe im just crazy... _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard -

Oi, that killed me at Benning that grown men honestly could not turn to the right when told to do so. And as for the recruiter knowing you smoked weed. Kind of a toss up. I know the Army recruiters ask if their recruits have smoked weed solely to determine if they have to instruct the recruit how to beat the drug test I dont know what Navy basic is like. But brace yourself. When I got to Benning i couldnt believe the culture shock i had. Its a serious change. Alot of guys went AWOL within the first week. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

The regular airborne op missions in the game are rounds. You don't have to go straight down, you have some control. It also depends on how long you stay in the bird and if you leave through the tailgate or one of the side doors. The thing i still find odd about that game is that during BRM you can shoot the DS and come back the next day and he says "Alright soldier, I KNOW we're gonna do better today!" _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Very few things in this world are more dangerous to your health than van/bus drivers in Chicago. In their heads they are just playing chicken thinking "I bet he'll swirve first". Yep.. that was a mess.. what was it? a 30 MILE backup because of that train derailment? _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Yes, we're transfering power to the Iraqis... we are however NOT pulling our troops out. They are going to remain to help Iraq deal with the rebels. If you call that giving in... _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

No, I'd rather not deal with any of them. The only positive side effect is that because of our "oil relations" with Saudi, they reign themselves in a little bit and act slightly more civilized than the countries around them. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Well the British government which you qouted kind of occupies Northern Ireland... Valued companions? Hardly. Quite literally the only reason the U.S. and Saudi Arabia act remotely friendly with eachother is because we need their oil, and they like our money just fine. Aside from that, Saudis don't like us for the same reasons the others don't. But, I couldn't give a shit what any country following anything resembling Islamic Law thinks about us. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

If you ever wonder why hamas and other terrorist organizations have so much support just look at the conduct of the occupying Israeli forces. If you ever wonder why the US is so hated in the middle east, look at which countries the US supports. LOL. How many 1st world countries do you think havn't had someone killed for political reasons? The Israelis are just upfront about it. And yes, middle eastern countries have issue with us for supporting Israel. But, are most of those middle eastern countries people you'd actually want to be friends with? Talk about making a deal with the devil. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Lol. I knew a guy in MI who switched MOSs to some supply job just so he could get stationed in S. Korea. His reason? "Man... have you seen the pictures of those korean hookers?" _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard
