Tell me how is that skychicks are not realistic towards life?? I have 3 jobs know what I am doing with my life and I skydive every weekend!! I think we are plenty realistic! But what you have to realize is that with skydiving, just like surfing, it is an escape from WHUFFO world!! Ok I used to surf when I lived in SC... this whole idea of surfer chicks being in better shape than skychicks is crap!! Obviously you have not pack 100 rigs on a Saturday and jumped bc I can tell you, from experience, it is hard shit!! Skydiving is very physically demanding...unless you are a pansey and do not do anything in the sky that requires a little more than just being there..No offense to belly flyers, bc that is hard stuff too!! Yes surfing is demanding as well adn it may get you in good shape but that is if you do it everyday adn really really dedicate yourself!! Now I do wear a bikini to pack in and I know plenty of girls at my DZ that do also...Just bc you have been exposed to jumpers that are not so fit does not mean that goes for all of us!! We dont sit around after a day of sweating our asses off jumping and packing to sit and have a box of twinkies.. We do take care of yourselves, the majority.. Personally I get up with my roomie, also a skychick, and we hit the gym every morning and afternoon! Get a fucking clue dude!! Dont get yourself into this kind of arguemnt bc trust me you will lose... And WHO REALLY CARES WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT SURFER CHICKS AND SKYCHICKS!!! Is Boondock Saints a Texas thing? The only other person I've heard about this movie from is another skydiver orignally from Temple. I lived in Austin for a few years & never heard about it. How'd you get into it? I think it'll be interesting to see if this guy is licensed or if he's just done a tandem. I guess we'll see, or not, if they just added it to have an air of mystique. Boondock Saints freaking rocks!!! I am in Ga so obviously it is not just a Texas thing! I can tell you that I have a pair of BM pantz too.. and it is easy for me to sit fly in! But you gotta figure out how to fly them on your belly really well 1st. Head down is a challenge bc it slows me down a lot! It will make your sit slow also! I went with a group of ppl that I waited tables with.. We showed up at the DZ at 8:00 AM and I did my 1st tandem with my buddy Lyle, and I was hooked from there on out!! I ended up spending all of my rent $$ on my next 2 jumps!! It was awesome! My roomie and I hung out and partied until midnight with everyone! 2 weeks after that I worked there and 2 weeks later I was off AFF! So began my skydiving life!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Be the change you wish to see in the world!
