  1. I play BF Vietnam. Very addictive game. I don't play on any particular server, just whatever has a low ping and has room on a map I want. Same name as I post by. If you look me up, my brother and I and some others sometimes set up our own server and games you can get in on if you want.
  2. Hey, Happy Birthday, Speedy. I hope that your day was good and that you have an even better year! Happy 19th!
  3. It's true, jump 5 and she's under her reserve. I think I was more shaken by the whole thing than she was. Watching her fall from the plane, expecting to see the main open (a main that I packed) and only seeing the bag. The main did deploy after she cut it, by the way. Anyway, I am very proud of her for remembering the safety procedures and not panicing. Although, I admit, I didn't start feeling okay with it for about 30 minutes after she got to the ground. It's hard to watch someone you love be in danger and not be able to do anything about it. For those who haven't experienced this...don't be too anxious.
  4. While I agree 100% with you on this, I would like to point out the simple fact that a protective and/or controling father will most likely NOT see the reasoning in this arguement.
  5. 1.5 Joules won't hurt the dog. As was stated earlier the amperage is what will kill, not the voltage, and for those who don't know, a joule is equal to a watt. so 1.5 joules is like being nailed by a low rate lightbulb. Don't sweat it, no significant damage will be done...unless the dog decides to "mark" the fence in his own special way. By the way, I'm not speaking from my A$$, I worked as an apprentice electrician for a year and have been zapped by a whole range of things...perhaps that explains something.
  6. you will meet her, so long as you and I get to jump together sometime, I'm sure she'll be with me. And, yes, I intend to go back to mardi gras boogie next year, I'm sure Kiki will be with me. (at the latest)
  7. Oh, no competition. She will always post more than me. She just has more to say.
  8. Hey, Casie! Oh, haven't been hiding...just busy and decided that I had better start posting since my GF (kiki) has only a few jumps, but posts more than I ever did. Decided it was time to change that. So, how have you been? Good I hope.
  9. Yardhippie, If I told you that Kiki and I would be going to AR this weekend and were going to go to the DZ near springdale would you make the trip that way??
  10. I can speak for the Navy, Marines and Army. All, have seen limited success w/ their buddy programs, and I think it is safe to assume that the AF would have one as well. But, as was stated b4, it is contingent on you being in the same area of specialty, both passing and being accepted to that area, passing the classes to go to the field in that area, and the chances of you being in the same division are limited once you get to your duty station. Air Force huh? That's cute. Ever think of joining the military though? Go Navy!
