  4. Thanks everyone for your kind remarks. There is a place for all of you with AirZoneXtreme. After we release the WFFC swoop competition standings and streaming video and before I hit the big screen, we'll get extremely busy including all of you who want to make the seen on our website. It's all about the skydiving community whom we love. We've already begun to organize upcoming swoop events for 2005. As far as the big screen, a big thanks goes to Annie, who introduced me to the producer. Thank you all once again for wonderful time. Birdbabe Olivia
  5. The photo link was down on the News/Events page and up on the Xtreme Media page. We'll repost when the competition update is complete. Blue Skies . . .
  6. Thank you for the post. Glad to have you girls linked up with us. We wish we could've made a Barbie pass with the Pink Mafia, but we were so busy with the swoop pond. We'll post the list of 16 competitors and streaming video from this year within the next few days. When we arrived home on Wednesday the 18th, it took us a few days to recover from storm problems brought on by the hurricane. The convention was so much fun this year. Can't wait till next year. We're planning to have swoop games every day.
  7. I should have said hablo manana, since I could not stay online last night. I had to edit footage, since we were asked to shoot some video of our family for a reality tv show, and they wanted it before we split this weekend for Summerfest and WFFC. We are exited the reality show, but even more so, I can officially announce to the world now that I was cast a rather big part in a major movie to be shot this fall. The major cast is George Clooney, Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and Shirley McClain. This thread is about exhibition, and my post was about flocking to the AirZone to entertain spectators and about having fun. First of all, I’ve encouraged people to fly wingsuits since my mom, Annie, and good friend Russell Thornton from Australia were flying them. They had BJ Worth, Don Kirlin, and Clem Majors at our booth in Quincy in 2000 to teach them on their first wingsuit flight. Actually B.J. made his first wingsuit jump with my Classic. I know all about the World Freefall Convention. This will be my 11th year in attendance. Annie, who was a USPA instructor for quite some time and raised me in the sport, cut away five times and pulled her reserve before correcting problems that were just being realized at the time by innovators. After modifying our rigs, getting reserve type deployment bags, and lengthening the bridle, I was ready to fly the wingsuit. I began flying the wingsuit the first day of 2001. In December of 2002, Jari named me "Birdbabe", not for my looks, but after beating him in a race to catch Yuri Kusnetstov. Annie has flown camera on all our dives, so that summer, Rob Tonneyson and I led flock dives of up to 14 flyers to land at WFFC's AirZone. Though not always perfect, as far as proximity of flyers goes, it was safe and fun for everyone. I love flying the wingsuit. Flying with it seems more natural to me than dropping without. It is a passion for our family. I have a minimum of 200 wingsuit dives. My first exposure to wingsuits was in 1999 and 2000. In '99 at WFFC, we were introduced to Jari & Robert. We have had a hospitality style, retail booth since 1995 under our name TNT Systems, and a hospitality style, coaching, & load organizing booth since 1999, when we introduced the AirZone. The following year we negotiated the pond to be built for spectator enjoyment, funded all the tour stops of the Para Performance Problade with Reg Eastaugh, gave away the purses from our own pockets and therefore have developed an interest in the spectator area and the flock dives going there. We have hosted the Wingsuit Seminars and selected speakers and open forum time since 2000. Two years ago Annie and I conducted the seminar ourselves. It was probably the most informative one ever held at the convention. Over a year ago Jari conducted a small instructor certification course for Perry, Annie, I, and a few others. Since that time Chuck Blue and Scott Campos came on board at the convention and Bird-Man, Inc. is working to regulate wingsuit flight through the USPA. I am not competing with people who intend to organize. We have every intention of joining the regular flock dives and flying with new friends. Nevertheless, I will be coordinating exhibition jumps at the AirZone, which will be scheduled with AirBoss. We are doing totally this for fun and the good of the convention. The spectator area tends to be lonely at certain times. This is not a political agenda for me; I have a lot of other things to place my energy on at this time, like the screenplay I’m studying. I honestly do not have time to post again. If someone wants to contact me, please email wings@airzonextreme.com or else I’ll see you at the convention.
  8. I'd like to talk and fly with you even more, but excuse me while I fly out the door. Habla luego. Lots of experience and lots of action, waiting to happen! It's a big, long story. Olivia
  9. Hey Scary! You can see yourself on our website, the "Xtreme Media" page, with the AATV drop that you shot video of. You look great on the Herc photos. Wish we were there. I wasn't meaning to imply that Chuck was associated with AirZoneXtreme. I know he his working directly for Bird-Man. We are planning to manifest with Chuck and Scott during times of organized flock dives as read in "LouDiamond"'s quote below, although we are flying to the AirZone at particular times. Sorry for the misunderstanding. If any birdies want to flock with us at during those special times, please let us know. C'mon Chuck; we both have blue eyes, let's fly the friendly skies. By the way, you may not have known that Jari already is sponsoring AirZoneXtreme. C-ya out there. Olivia BMI & Birdbabe SkyMonkeyOne's quote from 'Any big ways planned for WFFC' thread" "Either Chuck or myself will be organizing flocks daily, toward the end of the day. We will have a sign up sheet and ticket collection all through out the day, everyday. FREEDOM ISN'T FREE SKY / Birdman Chief Instructor MFFJM#9320 / RB #835"
  10. At the World Freefall Convention AirZone, we have a perfect venue area, that get's better every year, for wingsuit, demo flock dives. That's what AirZoneXtreme is all about: entertainment, exhibition & competition. I purchased the copyrighted Stars & Stripes Airblades from Reggie Eastaugh for exibition purposes, and we spent a week in demo training with the Golden Knights Gold team several years ago. We started wingsuit, flock dives to the AirZone at Quincy, but Rantoul is a 100 times better for spectators. We'll be bringing our smoke! Don Kirlin usually has a finale air show. He and the spectators appreciate it when people stay a little longer to sign autographs. So come fly with us if you get to WFFC. We'll be at the AirZone and in & out of the Bird-Man tent. We are arriving early and meeting with Bird-Man staff & the Air Boss before the convention starts to assure safety. All proficient, wingsuit flyers, regardless of wingsuit brand, are able to participate on the flock dives in general. We understand that you need to first check in with Chuck & Scott at the Bird-Man tent. Check out the "Xtreme Media" page on our website. http://www.airzonextreme.com. There is wingsuit, streaming video shot by Annie, except for the Florida Key's dive and final sunset shot by Joao Tambor. On the streaming video, I'm wearing a yellow & red Classic, but now Annie, Rosalyn, I have S3's. Also on streaming video (which made CNN news), is when I became the first woman in the world to drive an Airborne All Terrain Vehicle out the back of a tailgate, drop to 7500', deploy the 1,200 squ. ft. main, and steer it for landing with the AATV inventor, Ted Strong. For the good of the flock, fly to the AirZone! The WFFC map with the AirZone location is on the News/Events page of airzonextreme.com Blue Skies to Everyone! Birdbabe Olivia
  11. It's all good ManBird ... and Sirob We were there when Birdman came publicly to the World Freefall Convention in 1999. Robert was distinctly introduced as "the creator/designer", and Jari was there to market and also represent the Wings container. Our friend, Max Dereta, was there to support his European friends, so we hung out, shot video & took pictures. We know of conversations wingsuit enthusiasts had with Robert before that and were ready to check it out firsthand. It was obvious instantaneously that Jari was an extraordinary person and a pioneer. Many people have designed versions . . . why wouldn't Jari? It seems that Jari would be compelled to further develop and modify the suit as he's tested it repeatedly. We will certainly support both individuals and wish them the best in their endeavors. The Girls TNT Systems / The AirZone
  12. AirZoneXtreme is announcing the release of the official 2003 US Skydiving Nationals DVD production. http://www.airzonextreme.com Canopy DVD Over 30 CRW dives Accuracy Landings 2 Rounds of Sport Accuracy 35-minute Feature Presentation
  13. Paul was an amazing leader and example to all those he encountered, and we will always remember him as such. Our deepest sympathy to all of Paul’s family and friends. Annie, Olivia, & Rosalyn
  14. The Florida Skydiving Center is first class, very careful, and professional. They need to evaluate every detail of the production to assure that we have represented the teams and everyone else involved properly. The first draft was available to them on February 14th, and since that time, they've received the final, third DVD Masters, which may not be known to all FSC staff, and was not intended to be public information. Obviously, it took us some time to get finished on our end. They need some time also. FSC has been patient with us, and we hope you all will be patient with them. Official announcements will be made when they’re ready. Annie, Olivia, & Rosalyn
  15. Congratulations Lew! Looks like you're the lucky winner. I didn't submit mine right away, since it wasn't completed, and thought the winner would be selected at the PM boogie. The girls and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Hope you're feelin' real good these days. Rosalyn
  16. Hi Alli, I thought this logo would be a good representation of you girls. I didn't finish the face on the brunette or the rig on the blond, but would be happy to complete it and send you a high resolution version, if you're interested. Sorry for the delay. Blue Skiez, Rosalyn
  17. Hello Skydivers USA! We’d like to say that we believe you can all relax, because you are protected by the USPA, who owns all rights to the competition footage that was collected and now being edited by AirZoneXtreme, to be sold by the Florida Skydiving Center in Lake Wales, Fl. The waiver concerning the footage/talent release came strictly from AirZoneXtreme, derived from our past television production work and 25 years of active skydiving experience since 1977. We believe that the USPA has every right to have an event video of the US Nationals, just as much as any other organization or event. In the waiver, we gave the USPA the leverage to utilize this competition footage down the road if they choose, without having to ask each talent - which is a word to describe all of us athletes. It’s an incredible event, and worth the world seeing if the USPA should come upon such an outlet this year, next year, or in the next century. We’re glad to be instrumental in that regard. Of course, each team has a right to use their own footage as they so desire…that’s a given. There was mention made about a cameraman who left. That person had already completed the 4-way division and had signed the waiver okay, but left before the 8-way competition started, and for the sake of privacy a matter that should probably be left alone, which is why you probably haven’t heard many details about it. Sorry that we didn’t respond to these issues sooner, but we were just trying to stay out of it and focus. No worries, Ozone Junkie. We understand your concerns. AirZoneXtreme will not misuse the competition footage. We will do our best to create a production that exemplifies the competitor’s skills and hard work and helps further the sport of skydiving. We’re going to get back to work now. We’ll be making an official announcement about product details and availability, as soon as we can. The day after our return from the nationals, we received word that Annie’s sister was dying, so we drove to Pennsylvania to be with her. We were the last ones to speak to her before she passed away. Also, Rosalyn was terribly ill and in bed for 15 days!, but she’s fine once again and working on graphics for the production. It’s a lot of work, but the more the better. We hope this production will encourage all of you to put a team together or compete individually at next year’s US Nationals. Love you all. Annie, Olivia, & Rosalyn www.airzonextreme.com [url]
