Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank those that commented on my earlier post regarding my 1st jump that happened this past weekend. Its hard to explain it but I guess "Amazing" is a good start. My group of 8 newbies (including myself) ended up jumping at Sebastian Skydive. The people were really friendly and the facility was very nice. The (+) were the jump, the view, our tandem masters that jumped with us (nice guys who really made the jump unforgettable and who really made the pictures a great keepsake, the camp ground, the location. I would highly recommend this DZ. The only (-) was the bathrooms. But Im sure that'll get fixed. Anyway, again, I am talking about this to everyone that'll listen because all in all, the facility was great. Im sure to go back soon. Thanks everyone!

The Tandem masters that jumped with our group were great. Real friendly and definitely know what they are doing. The view was amazing and the video and pictures are great! The facility itself with the camp ground is real nice. The only cons were that the bathrooms smelled kinda bad. Also the music selection to choose when editing your videos is a little low, so maybe you might want to bring your own music. We had to wait about 45 minutes until the camera guy finished his jumps for the day before we got one of our videos. Maybe there is a way you guys can find a way to have someone other that the camera guy edit the tapes. Just a thought. And with it being such a nice day, there were a lot of people jumping so it was like 1,2,3, next, no time for chit chat. I mean, I understand this because they want to give everyone a jump on such a beautiful day but I guess I was expecting more of a one on one buddy/buddy thing. But please understand that the positives outweigh the negatives by a ton. The reason why I state the negative is because I am sure the great people at Sebastian are alwats looking to improve and I know these commenst will help. I highly highly highly recommend Sebastian Skydive. Thank you for helping in creating a beautiful and unforgettable experience for me and my family that jumped with me.

Hi every1, Ive always wanted to jump. But never had the guts, Then I met my g/f. and shes always wanted to jump. Well its her B-day the 1st week of March and Im surprising her with it. But where to? I live in Miami, Florida. Ive heard of several places, W.Palm Beach, Keys, Okochobee but where to? The nerves set in a little so I started thinking about safety. as in which of those 3 spots has a better safety record, but realistically is that something to take into account. i mean, if a place is unsafe, Im sure word would get around and everyone would jump on them for tainting the sport right? In other words, safety is a given right? I have a lot of questions and I would really appreciate the replies. The biggest question is where to do it. Taking into account safety and professionalism of the place. I really have my eyes set on the one in the Keys because she loves the keys. So I know she would love to see the keys from up above.
