    What are you guys flying for this boogie? I thought the Skyvan and the Otter go to the Extreme Divers Boogie in Puerto Rico that weekend. Man I'm so torn, so many things going on, what to do? what to do.

    Thanks for the replies, I spoke to a couple of DZ'z and got the information I needed. Turns out there is a weight restriction at one and the other will do it as long as the Doctor says its alright via Dr's note, then my boy will be flying. He still has the thought in his head, you know how it goes. so I'll let you know what happens either way. thanks again. ED

    i'm going to demo one of these saphire2's, but I did notice at my DZ the other day I didn't see any. ofcourse I will do all the flare, lft,rt turns frnt riser,rear riser turns to get a feel for the canopy, But then there is the landing, I would like to get away with not bustin my ass, so how are the landing flares 1 stage 2 stage? I will be flying a 229, yea its big but I'm 230lbs. And yes I know ask the rigger/instructor. I'm looking for a dollars worth of 2cent advice. thanks ED

    Talk to your DZ people they can hook you up and steer you in the right directiion, shop around for used equipment inspect get it inspected and inspect again. My first year Aff,rig,helmet,alt,protrack,jump suit, and 130 incredible jumps 10K When it grabbed me, I didn't even know I spent that kinda money till I sat down and added it up. have fun

    I was at the DZ yesterday and the winds were humming, up top 40 to 50 mph give or take. on the ground solid 15 to ahh 30 mph gusts. too much depends on your limitations, where do you draw the line. ohh yea and the landings were great. To watch how were yours.

    omly you ZepThere are some beaches here in S. FL where you can go stark nekid. I prefer a S. beach street something like, well a couple blocks from first street. Thats where all the hot chickie models hang out. Then theres that other one buy a popular inlet where all the people who play for the other team go, but only on the beaches or a club. my opinion is keep the kids home it's not for children no matter what people believe. Man there are so many perverts around it's sickening

    6 months and counting for me, to look up at the sky these days, I still smile I know it will be soon. Recover soon and give the healing time. Skydiving will always be here.

    Thanks for the responce Chuck, and yes a Tandem. I wish we could have gone through AFF togather, and I know if he could have , we would have. Tomorrow infact I'm calling him right now and discuss it some more. Tomorrow I'll call Pine. I have a feeling there will be abit of tendems that day, the whole crew will be out. Thank You Freefalle.

    A good friend of mine who has been sitting in a chair for a long time, better side of 10 years wants to do it. I said yea I'm sure someone out their can make it happen. So we were having lunch yesterday discussing it and I said I'll do the research. Mike is about 5'10'' 209lbs he is a quadriplegic. What level I don't know(C-5, whatever) but, we surfed some big waves back in the day, traveled, fish boat, so much. Is there some info any of you could help out with. thanks Ed.

    one year agoI blew out acl medial lateral maniscus 6 months ago I had sergery. and now it hurts more than ever. I was jumping all the way up till sergery with no problems, and the brace on, sliding in the landings. Doc said your gonna be as good as new. Now he says no more skydiving. I was one of those fortunate people who's sergery did not go so well. I don't know what he did yet but I know I'm in pain every day I havn't jumped for 6 months.If your in FL look for a DR. D Simone, He's at Holly Cross hosp. Thats the one you should see. Now ther talkin replacement, I told um to just cut it off. Watch those Doctors ghood luck.

    shit Wendy since you put it that way lets trade we like the skyvan too. Besides we can use some robantics over there. we're all grown up lets share. I wish they would bring there whole arsenal down south for the winterwhat a great idea.

    I've benn doing some research myself and titusville sounds like a good idea, we have alot going on in this state for skydiving. good luck on your search, send a PM and maybe I'll be ready to jump by then, we'll hook up.
