DG thanks. I am sticking with 2 - 3 ways right now. Basically if its a 3-way, we get out of the plane nicely, but soon as we let go of the grips - off I go into never-never land and lurk on the 2 way that I was supposed to be the 3rd person. It is embarrassing to say the least...but, I think its expected in a way. I really thought I could do it, but didn't realize how much you coaches were working with your own fall rates while we were training. So, yeah...I'm going up with coaches and very experienced jumpers for now and getting as much video as possible to see what the heck I'm actually doing up there.

I believe it was at WFFC and is due back in September. However, the wind tunnel you are asking about, so I'm told, isn't quite as powerful as the Perris tunnel, therfore it wouldn't help me as much as I need. I will be getting some excellent coaching from some Spaceland folks as well!! This will be greatly beneficial when I return because they'll be familiar with what I'm working on.

Thanks guys! Just understand, that a lack of confidence in my skills is keeping me on the ground quite often, as I refuse to do solos....no point....nothing relative except keeping my heading...nothing for fall rate, etc.

Okay. Here's the deal-io. I have abused my checking account and cannot have both options at once. I'm struggling with flying relative and am extremely frustrated with myself. I'm backsliding all over the place and am working to fix that AND my proximity! I've gone up with several people and have learned a great deal from them, but my legs, my legs, my legs eeeew....grrrr. I know it will come it time, but I'm not a very patient person. However, I have the opportunity to get some wonderful coaching at the Perris wind tunnel (2-1/2 hours) - I think that may help me with some of my issues without mother earth screaming at me. What do you think? I've already made a commitment, but wanted your thoughts. Thanks!!

Funny you posted this....I work for an Iranian!! And the first time I pronounced his homeland as "eye-ran," he nearly sent me right back home!!!! So there are no "eyes"....it's "ears" The worst thing you could possibly call someone from Iran is "eye-rain-ian".....they hate it.... Same applies for ear-rawk. Soo.......how 'bout this: Does it make you crazy to hear "eye-talian dressing" vs. eh-talian. Good post.

Just a quick post to say thanks to everyone involved in getting my arse back on the plane for my SCR. 10 other skydivers joined me in my flight and even turned points while I took in the moment. It was an honor and I'm truly grateful to all who were involved. Conway, thank so much for organizing it for me. One try and it was complete!! Awesome. BTW: Kimmie and Rich...thanks for letting me lurk on your 2 way Loads and loads of fun.

Excellent job on the SCR ceremony!! I was one of those maggots that barely made it out alive. The top of my skull is still numb from the freakin' cold beer. And yesssss...Skyfest was indeed a blast!
