  1. Hi, You can try to get in touch with Bob Mathews at NPTC(national parachute test center) in Dunnellon FL. He sells all the components for these rigs on ebay. His user name is Scotchlead. Great guy and he will be able to give you what he charges for all the components. His email is ScotchLead@aol.com
  2. yes it is real.It was called a Kauffman starter. It basically uses basically a large shotgun shell to kick over the engine.
  3. I made many jumps out of 184 when it was at Jumptown in Orange Massachusetts ! It is a great plane. I heard it went back to Norway. nice to see it still flying jumpers.
  4. You're right, further research indicates more likely a W.8 of unknown exact sub model. There were a bunch of different engine combinations between twin and 3 engined. The Handley Page part was too easy though.
  5. How about a hard one for a change? Handley Page W.9 built about 1925-26. Given that you referenced a French book it might also be licensed built version built in Belgium by Sabena.
  6. Percival prospector What do I win Howard?
  7. No, but I see Howard every couple of weeks! It will fit 4 skinnies in the front cockpit or 2-3 with rigs.
  8. 1929 new standard biplane. Beautiful plane, You were lucky !!!! So what do I win?
  9. Hi Howard, A26 with the Onmark executive conversion. Mike
  10. You are right Howard that one is obscure! I do believe that it is a 1929 American Eagle biplane. As for the jumper or when and where the picture was taken I have no clue. Mike
  11. Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner. That's the funniest line I've read in awhile.

Incredible CD. Incredible band. I have seen them 17 times since 1981 and will continue to go to every tour of theirs I can.
  14. Hey Jeff, Hows it going? I could take it apart and put it back together in under 90 seconds. Thats the only way I could do it. I didn't understand all that math shit either!

    Derek Trucks

I saw him in a little redneck dive bar in Fla. when he was 12-13 years old. Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen. The kid played with more feeling than any guitar player I have seen before or since. (Thats what I get for mixing percocet and a keyboard)
  16. I wish my leg was healthy. Then you'd be down two more tickets.
