  1. Yeah, what you said......thanks for cutting through the BS and presenting a well thought out intelligent viewpoint of the firearms debate.I know a lot of our socialist allies love gun control and I am reminded by some WW2 vets in the family that Hitler disarmed the civilian population of Deustchland because he didnt trust them! 2. For gluttons like me they have this marvelous event called 3 gun, where you compete (shoot!)pistol rifle & shotgun. And you can pretty much pick and chose what kind of hardware you want to bring. There is a place for everyone .......generally IPSC rules apply for scoring and safety, but be prepared on the courses of fire.....anything goes and there are always lots of surprises! 3. Naw, that's not the American way.....that's the "Texan" way! Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  4. Thanks guys...........thats really nice.....I will chant for your spiritual as well as financial well being...... nam-myoho-renge-kyo Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  5. Waaah.......waaaaah......such whining!Sure the system isnt perfect, but at least we arent bloody socialist (yet) and can still somewhat determine our own destiny.I have no problems "at all" with my health policy, its affordable,I have a $20 co pay and I get to pick the Dr's.....I still believe that in a free market economy they can do it better quicker and for less cost than a comparable socialist medical system. The biggest problem we have are too many litigious people and too many attorneys!! 6. Too little, too late in my book.......but it's a good start on the rest of the extremists that should be sent to "paradise" early... Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  7. It was sad to hear about the gorilla going berserk and injuring people.Just a short time before he made his break, kids were seen taunting and teasing him.I think the zoo is responsible and should take steps to insure that kids or idiot parents cant antagonize these animals. As far as zoos go they do serve a useful function....they help preserve endangered species, they help educate the community about wildlife and they help support breeding programs for releasing animals into the wild..As far as rodeos go, most of the ones I've been to, the cowboys are the only ones I see getting hurt......a circus treats there animals well ( it is in there best interest to have healthy well treated animals) and most of there animals have been born and bred in captivity. As far as the dallas pd gunning down the gorilla they probably felt they were out of options. 8. Well, some of the kaleidoscope guys had a variant of that....it involved a bare wire extension cord and started with 10+ people. But the fondest (haziest?) memories for me are the hours spent playing "Cardinal Puff"...... Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  9. Well, sometimes those bascr loads werent spotted correctly could be the distracting "scenery".My wonderhog pilot chute would usually suffice for the walk back, unless we were close to the alligator pond...then we would go swimming Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  10. You're absolutely correct!According to several eyewitnesses and participants,he had a sloppy opening and swung into a guy wire, straddled it almost having a gender change the hard way.....never a dull moment with the Lake Chas. crowd! Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004
  11. If I remember correctly,I think I made skydives with all of you at some point (74-84 or so)Kevin,I think we made some dives into the "branding iron" .Lets see, we would work on to loads with the likes of Mcgurr,Billy Lee,Andy,Phil & Kathy,Umscheid,Mark Conrad,Mcmillian,Svec,Bob,Greg Lane,Sherri,Coker,Laird,Ron, Jenny, and many more......Bruette showed up at a meet with a roadkilled raccon hanging out of his jumpsuit,I think he made a skydive with it too.And unfortunately,I did witness the oyster snorting on more than one occasion.........
