  1. I couldn't find any of those in the app options. Do you download those to your computer and then sync it to the iphone?
  2. Yea, but you're not in charge - welcome to your opinion, but the gov is lots more than that and should be. Yea, but you're not in charge - welcome to your opinion, but the gov is lots more than it[sic] should be. -fixed it
  3. Directive 10-289 "In the name of the general welfare," read Wesley Mouch, "to protect the people's security, to achieve full equality and total stability, it is decreed for the duration of the national emergency that-- "Point One. All workers, wage earners and employees of any kind whatsoever shall henceforth be attached to their jobs and shall not leave nor be dismissed nor change employment, under penalty of a term in jail. The penalty shall be determined by the Unification Board, such Board to be appointed by the Bureau of Economic Planning and National Resources. All persons reaching the age of twenty-one shall report to the Unification Board, which shall assign them to where, in its opinion, their services will best serve the interests of the nation.
  4. what is that? Epocrates Free comprehensive handheld drug guide for Palm, Windows Mobile, iPhone, and BlackBerry
  5. So... what's your favorite or most interesting app Pirate Utility - translates to "pirate" NASA Tricorder (yes.. just fake, but still fun) Epocrates
  6. My thoughts: C O V E R! And while you're under cover, identify the direction of the treat and move away while finding better cover. And once in a "safe" position - CALL FOR HELP/BACKUP - MY HUSBAND, POLICE, MILITARY Do not try to "reason" with the mass murderer - won't work with psychotic killers. Do not try to take a fist/knife to that gun fight - even if your name is Chuck Norris. If you have a firearm, use it for personal protection only... DEFENSIVE. Do not go raging into a firefight and end up killing MORE innocents in the crossfire (and then get yourself killed by the local police when they show up and you're the only one standing... with a gun) (morbid humor... picturing someone in a cardboard box slowly walking through a room. I'm blaming Hollywood )
  7. I'm surprised that no one has posted TTIWWOP
  8. Q: Can I go to the bathroom? A: "I don't know. CAN you?" Q: Mom, where's my "xxxx"? A: "Well, where did you have it last?" or "All I know is I don't have it."
  9. This is what I wrote: "That population isn't KNOWN for long term relationships. But in reality, that problem exists with ANY marriage. " What YOU read was the promiscuity. I was talking about the marriage lasting and my friend being heart broke after four years of wanting a "happily ever after." Guard against assuming. I will admit, communication is the responsibility of both the one talking/typing and the one reading/listening... so part of your misunderstanding is my fault.... but don't let your bias lead you to misread comments.
  10. It's VERY HARD. Mart and I have discussions about his business and personal time ALL THE TIME. He IS his business. And when business is GOOD, he's REALLY busy. But you don't want to complain about business being good.... but it truly is a difficult balance. He's kinda glad that I'm busy at work as much as I am too.
  11. To be fair, she does acknowledge it's really no different in hetro relationships in the very next sentence. But who wants to read to the very next sentence? It's much more fun to take things out of context and roll eyes.
  12. I think it would be a good idea to have them be more "open".... I feel badly for my friend that feels that he has to hide a huge part of who he is... just imagine being ashamed of LOVE. being ashamed of your significant other. being ashamed of yourself.... I don't think they SHOULD have to hide. But... until the change catches up with our culture... they hide. Remember, the Emancipation Proclamation eliminated slavery... but the change didn't catch up with society til the 1960's (or even later....) But to make a positive step forward for PEOPLES rights... not "gay rights" .... "not womens rights" ... not "black/yellow/purple/green......." but PEOPLES rights.... that's where we should work toward
  13. I'm having a bit of mental fun sorting out that direct connection..... Didn't quite mean to provide that image... but
  14. "Gay marriage" - concerns include separation and divorce. I have a close friend who had a 4 year relationship... and when it ended, he was devastated. That population isn't KNOWN for long term relationships. But in reality, that problem exists with ANY marriage. If you mean "gay intercourse" - are you asking male/male or female/female? Is the objection to anal intercourse? Cuz that could be male/female as well.... Or is it objection to only males having anal intercourse? Either way... what someone else does in his/her bedroom, as long as it's between consenting adults ... It's NOT my business. (well.. unless it's between two females and they need their annual paps... then it's my business
  15. We're an anarco-sydicalist commune. We take it in turns to be a sort of executive officer for the week but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs but by a two thirds majority in the case of international affairs. Comparing our system of self rule with the three nearest neighbors - we're right; they're wrong. THEY have a king. You can tell because he aint got shit all over him. Liverpool game? omelet? But you did say fuck Oh... and as for the picking - if Venezuela is a guy, .......

Thanks!! It was a very nice day. I'm glad to be back "in the saddle" (it wouldn't really be back "in the stirrups"... cuz I wasn't "in" those stirrups.)
  17. And one could hope that lil humans had better things to do than torment lil ants or frogs or other lil beasties... but you know some still do. So, I don't think that it would be totally out of line to think that IF they did exist, that some could have some mean and nasty streaks.
  18. Ok; I learned this from a witch movie I watched tonight... Don't think about soft, cuddly, fluffy bunnies. Don't think about soft, cuddly, fluffy bunnies. Don't think about soft, cuddly, fluffy bunnies. Dont' think about soft, cuddly, fluffy bunnies.
  19. careful.... demons bite! Yum! Ya know... I just thought of something..... it's night time again. How did it get to be night time again?!

What makes something scary to you?
  21. He doesn't like barricaides.... ok, then I'm gonna break down your defenses one by one. I'm gonna hit you from all sides
  22. The movie sucked. Don't believe a bit of that stuff... - now, where's that Jolt... and some coffee ... and ... did someone hear that?.... It's 1:28 here. I wouldn't want to go to sleep before 2:08
  23. I don't know where love has gone. And in this trouble land, desperation keeps us strong.
  24. OK, let's. Me - upper middle class, maybe lower upper class. I have an education. I have savings, I have stocks, I have investments. Sister one - "poor." She lives at my moms house with her husband and her three year old (amazingly darling and wonderful) daughter. She was National Honor Society in high school, dropped out of college and was a carny for almost a decade. (yup... a carny - which is a GREAT story to have... but doesn't put much in the bank.) Sister two - maybe not "poor" but definitely doing things to bring herself down. She's trying HARD, working way too much at her two jobs just to make ends meet in a condo that she couldn't really afford. Just not understanding HOW she can help herself and refusing to listen to advice on how to be SMARTER with her finances. Example, last December, the dentist recommended that her son have a root canal... but she doesn't have the money for her portion of that procedure... because she's saving up to buy season tickets for the Brewers. All three of us had the same beginnings: same parents, same influence on education, same lower middle class upbringing..... but CHOICES divide us. Now, I will grant that some do have choices crossed off by others or by situations. But, generally, if someone truly tries hard to get an education and to improve and save and not give into "I want" and "Gimme now"... That desire is usually rewarded.
