Would have expected this from a Canadian. Avro CF-105 Arrow?
-
Good guess. It is also a Mirage III upgrade, but South African this time. It's an Atlas Cheetah D.

I knew it was a Sukhoi, but I had to Google for 'Sukhoi FSW' to get the model: S-37. How about this one?
-
Here is a pretty obscure one. Jumped it a couple of years ago.

Dit is 'n briljante idee. Ek geniet dit veral om bietjie stront te praat oor die yanks. Lekker dag.

I've been trying to find Crosswinds on DVD for months, where did you get it from? Marcel

Senseless acts like these occur every day in good old South Africa. We average about 20 000 (twenty thousand) murders a year. There is something seriously wrong with this society. By the way the 'suspects' where caught the next day. They were turned in by the local community.

As far as inspecting for airworthyness, it would be best to take it to someone with paragliding experience such as a local pg school. Certain aspects (such as line trim) are more critical in paragliders and needs a pg experienced person to check out. Good luck Marcel

Hi What is the story with the website? When is it expected back online? Marcel
-
Thats a great story! We often thermal with birds in all the soaring sports and it is always a beatiful experience. Here is a picture I took thermalling with 30 - 40 Cape Vultures on a paraglider. They are totally different creatures in the air, very graceful and efficient flyers. Marcel

Very nice pics! Of course, the series is not complete without this one!

Spoken like someone from sub-saharan Africa. HIV/AIDS is a reality here.

Here is a picture of me and one of my other great toys, a Gradient Onyx. Marcel

Hmm, lets have a look... No, my pullout handle is definitely attached to the top of my PC. Marcel
-
Thanks Bill I jump this type of system but I'm considering changing it after a friend of mine had the malfunction you described. Marcel

I'd like to know your opinion on pullouts with the pud/pin attached to the apex of the pilot chute, using a sliding section. Was this part of the original patent? Pros/Cons? Thanks Marcel
-
Very impressive. I suppose in a situation like that your first instinct is to go for the handle you're most familiar with, for better or worse.

I watched chronicle III for the first time last night. Can anyone tell the story behind the low pull at the end? I searched the forum and couldn't find anything.
-
Yes, but now that I think about it it doesn't look anything like a merlin.

Only possibility I can think of straight away is the C-2A Greyhound, but its got 4 vertical stabilizers and is a twin turboprop.
