This brings back fond memories of Turners Falls. I was there for that boogie, we were doing 10-way scrambles, I was the rear float and first out...........when I swung out, I was blown off the plane. The 10-way never knew. They only built to 9. Never-the-less, because I was out of the picture, our point total froze at 9. Although it was a problem with the Dornier, it was still embarrassing to get blown off. The flight under the bridge was awesome, guess the FAA rep was not happy, as she reported the incident. I've talked to Mike, one of the pilots. He got out of trouble by self-reporting. Mike was a avid skydiver (still jumps) and a hellofa jump pilot. He is currently flyng Challengers.

Motorola Minitor II's We've been using them for years, low.......low maintanence and reliable!!! You can find them on e-bay. Crystal changes can add some $$$.

There appears to be single-shot system in there, as well as a "blast" handle..........those were the days!!!

Talk about memories..... Spent some time down in Duanesburg in the late 70's, when T-10's and 28's were used in the JCC/ICC's that Larry S. the ASO ran. I see Bob R. yearly at the Lake George Winter Festival. A nice time flying and jumping on the ice. He and Ros have long been split, Bob doesn't jump anymore (something about not taking care of his body), but is still active as a DZO. . A lot of the regulars from those days are still around. A bunch of them jump at Mohawk Valley.

Check out Skydive Superior, across the bridge in Wisconson. Only a few minutes away at the Bong Airport. They have a long history in skydiving, small but friendly. More information on USPA's page. Otherwise, a couple of hours south to Baldwin, or east to Wissota will get you your fix. Check them out at USPA also.
