I have yet to see Rusty belly fly in a booty suit. I've seen him do some outstanding free flying though, and have yet to see Michael do any other than instucting first timers. As a matter of fact I have yet to see any tunnel instructor in the chamber with three other people doing 4 way stuff, only hired guns seem to do that. Say, where have you been lately? I missed ever getting to see you fly. I heard you've moved on to greener pastures...

I was lucky enough to watch alot of perspective coaches in action before I decided who I thought was good and who I'd like to have coach me. As it turns out, since I have limited funds, I have just relied on the tunnel instuctors. They have been great. The only thing I think that exceeds their capabilities is heavy duty four way work, like Airspeed and XL level stuff.

I did say most Meaning, aside from ejection seats, the space shuttle, and top fuel dragsters (they only go 200mph anyway) most rounds of kind applicable to sport jumping are used for static line drops of troops and cargo. And, with an ejection seat the pilot remains in the seat with the canopy attacted to the seat rather than the pilot. So, the seat takes and buffers the opening shock, right? Also, there's a delay between rocket assisted ejection (what do they call that, zero altitude capability) and canopy deployment. I would imagine horizontal speeds drop considerably during that time. Have you got any futher details on their operation?

I have had this conversation with a good number of experienced people, through which several points have come to light. Round Good Points: 1) Will let let the jumper down easier than a square if they are unconcious. 2) Are better in a two out situation, downplane proof. 3) Have good dependability, if it has anti-inversion netting. Round Bad Point: 1) Are usually built for low speed static line deployment, and could be disasterous if deployed at high speed. A round designed to use a freebag and prehaps a slider would help with this. 2) Are much less steerable. 3) Manufacture of sport rounds has been discontinued. Virtually everybody wants squares. A sport round with netting was once made, and then was subsequently ignored. Personally, I like them, but their are some design issues that need to be addressed to make them acceptable for modern sport use. That of course is presuming a sufficient market could be found for them so that at least the R&D costs could be recovered. Cheers

How about some pictures

The most difficult part of becoming a tunnel coach is getting a training slot. There are so many people that want the job. As for becoming a tunnel bunny, when I realized that one could learn a lot of stuff faster and cheaper in the tunnel, I was hooked

GUYS: if your girl asked you to pump iron, would you?
Avion replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
Its great, especially for skydiving, because you can isolate the specific muscles used in flaring, sitflying, etc. Its smoother, but less intense than free weights. The range of motion they talk about is really impressive. You can slide from one excerize to another, really work or two or three at the same time. -

I just got a Total Gym, to get back into working out, because I've stopped doing construction work for a while. I would expect, though, if she asked, she would also be willing. I think girls with tight abs are just the hottest... -
Hmm... Prehaps, I should say usually excluded. Maybe, there's hope for Gold Coast yet

Ouch, sometimes lawyers are good for something. If they made a mistake like this, at least you can take it out of their paycheck. BTW I just had a conversation about why skydiving was absent at Orlando executive airport. The reason was there is too much traffic. Additionally, the airport has a tower. The person, I was talking with, made the comment that skydiving is always excluded from tower controlled airports. Does anybody know different?

As for Guitars, aside from my Takemine LTD '89, I'm considering having a custom one made by US Custom Guitars with a rock maple solid body and neck, a 24 fret ebony finger board, a single EMG-S4 HZ pickup, and a Floyd Rose original Vibrato tail. It's a... It's a... It's a... gonna rock! I also just acquired a Johnson Millenium 250 head and a Behringer 4x12 cabinet. They do rock!

I found it: US Patent 3,724,789 4/3/1973 Yes, something like that, with a vertical rib above where the suspension lines attach. Thanks

It's good to have cable

Well, its a bit simpler than a tri-cell cross brace and far from the new z-brace. I like the keep it simple motto. So, it would be for a mild to moderate performance canopy by today's standards.

I was just thinking about X-braced canopies and was wondering if a cell design like this was ever tried: Ignore the dashes inside the cell, I had to put them there to maintain the spacing. ________ |---/ \---| |--/---\--| |-/-----\-| ----------- I'm wondering in this case if the middle vertical rib can be omitted as above.

Hahaha, all too true...

lol I've been in with lots of first timers in the tunnel, and have noticed that about one out of five or six people do the same thing. Your right on with the relaxing part. Alot of it is just being tense in the lower back area. So, stretch, relax, enjoy I glad to hear you got in a tunnel. I'm a big fan of learning stuff in tunnels, because its cheaper than a jump and you can stay in there for 2-3 minutes at a time to practice, much better than 50-60 seconds while have to worry about altitude and everything else that goes along with being in the sky -
Does anybody else think the ghost in The Grudge looks a little like the notorious Michal Jackson?

Go the the doctor, get the eardrops. Should clear up in a few days. I got an outer ear infection once from using wax earplugs(I lived next to an airport, low flying jets make a lot of noise). It started to involve the ear drum. I could tell, it hurt alot, especially when popping. The drops cleared it right up.

Could you be more specific...

It affects different people differently. Personally, it took my wind away. That's why I quit. Nicotine is a horrible beast of a drug, prehaps the worst one out there in terms of addiction rates. Although, it is so mild otherwise, you will only notice that fact when trying to quit after your hooked. Nicotine is something I would like to have avoided ever getting aquainted with. It is completely useless as far as I am concerned. If you smoke that little, you'd do well to just leave it alone

I love that song "I Am The Bullgod" Kid Rock' "Sweet Dreams(Are Made of This)" Eurythmics "Butterfly" Crazy Town --- I think this is the most enchanting song to come out in Decades. The Monkeys also had a bunch of good songs. They of course had the best song writers of the time composing for them. Another timeless classic... "Brandy" Looking Glass

If they had the CVV2 number they probably got it from somewhere other than a POS merchant, they mostly ignore the number. You might have a key logger program running on you computer. Have you entered all that information for an online purchase? My guess is that it was a key logger or somebody got into a database.
