Hi all,
Can anyone help me out here with some wise words/suggestions/advice?
I've been skydiving for a number of years, mainly in the UK, but also abroad, and have accumulated 400 or so jumps. I mainly do flat-flying (4-way pools and large group formations), but I've also been experimenting with camera flying. I've really enjoyed doing the latter, having followed (quite successfully) a number of tandems and I'd like to do some more... a lot more!
I've got a number of months off this coming year (basically June/July through to March 2006), and would love to get a job on a DZ filming tandems/AFF - preferably somewhere in the sun, with good weather. I'd originally been thinking of Aussie/NZ (due to the large no. of tandems they do), but I'm quite flexible. I'm mainly interested in the experience I'd glean from it, and the air-time that I'd be getting - not too fussed about the money (enough to live on would be nice).
I figured that with my relatively few no.s of jumps it might be worth approaching a smallish DZ, that is 'on it's way up', rather than a big scale operation - thinking that they'd probably be more accommodating - but that was just a thought?!
Does anyone know a good place to start looking?
Cheers!
