Although if he keeps clawing s**t around here, he's next. Since I moved to California, I seem to find them in the house in Sept and Oct when it starts getting cooler outside. Probably not as dangerous sting-wise as they are freaky looking, unless you're allergic, or found a nasty species.

I guess it's better to subject the world to English with its vocab full of redundancy, dozen different ways to pronounce each vowel, verb exceptions which boggle the mind, leaving one to basically memorize every word. Think about a 'spelling bee' for a moment... Naw. It was (is) an attempt to make a politically and socially neutral second language, rather than the way languages continue to be pushed around through economic, cultural, and military imperialism. And it could take a few more decades or even centuries. Still might catch. Until then, just a hobby. And a noble attempt at helping provide one tool toward world peace and mutual respect. Damn straight. The dialogue and acting are a bit overdramatic often enough, and a couple of plot holes here and there (even after accepting the premise) but the character development is good, and if you like a mysteriously twisting storyline, you'll probably get hooked into the whole season after the first couple of episodes. Can't wait til the next season. The first one ends with a whole lot of unanswered questions.

Is it correct to figure that lower wingloading (like student-low) would make one more susceptible to the danger of a dust devil? Or maybe just more dangerous to students due to their lack of piloting experience? Or both? Or are devils so much stronger than the movement and inflation of any canopy that they're just about as dangerous to anyone?
