Just wondering if there is any info about the price and a break down of the schedule for the record. I need to start saving my pennies and book the flight. Super excited!!!! See you in March! "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause -

Yeah, it was an awsome weekend! No typos, 4 point 20 ways from about 13500. There was a few dives that were sooooo close to being 5 points. We also did a 20 way shakey shake that went beutifuly! "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

Mike Knight and Robby Bigley organized a 20 way sequential event that happened this past weekend in Lodi. The dives went extreamly well with 5 dives that ended with 4 points and a few that were only inches away from 5 points. Just wanted to say thanks to all of those who particapated; you are all amazing flyers! "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

Not only does Lodi have a king air and a cessna but it also has 2 otters and 2 beech 99's... king air is in Canada right now, it will be back in the winter. "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

When your learning head down and especialy exits you really need to be with at least 1 really strong freeflyer. When doing a 4 way I would say have 2. They will know what is going on and will be able to correct it. If its not stable when you leave the plane you don't want to hold it until it is because you'll be all over the place while trying to make it stable. I'm happy that your asking a really good question, there a lot of people who just try to "wing" it out the door and its not safe for you or the other people in the sky. Be safe and take it slow. And one thing to always keep in mind is that a lot of people think they are doing right but it doesn't mean they are so you have to really becareful about what types of jumps your doing and who your doing it with. Its hard to say to people that it may be out of your leauge but it will only benifit you in the end if your heads up about where you are in your freeflying skill level and not trying to skip a step. I hope this helps you. Steph "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

No your not slow. It was a shorter time for me because I have a few more jumps on you, everything I did in there I can already do pretty well in the sky. But you'll get there too! "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

I went to the Eloy tunnle for my first time ever and I didn't think that I would have that much fun! I did 10 min for my first session and was cleared on my belly, back, and walking on the net. My second 10 min session was all sit and by the end of that I could hold a sit and bearly dock and on my 3rd 10 min session I could dock well, carve both ways, and go from my back to my sit, to my belly, to my sit and so on and so forth. It was awsome!!! Thanks Dusty! "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

Refused tandem because of waiver
sclosoma replied to skinnyshrek's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
There is a waiver at Lodi, its on the back of your ticket. -Edit for spelling "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause -
It sounds to like your not ajusting your upper body when you press your legs down so you just flop on your back. If you press your legs down you have to make sure you bring your butt in and your upper body needs to fallow. "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

Be sure to come play with us in Lodi. Plenty of jumps and a lot of fun! Did I mention cheap? Cheap!!!!! Come during the weekdays. We always have something going on. "Don't mistake common stupidity for common sense" -Bill Dause

I totaly agree with you riggerrob. But to get on here and bag on our program is childish. There have been and will be plenty of other students that like the programs offored at lodi. But most people don't get on here to say how great the dz is and how wonderful thier instructor was. I'll defrend it to the end because it worked for me and I love lodi!
