    Yeah!!! I can't wait! I will have to go get my toga soon...and hope that this one stays up! Last time we had a toga party at the dz, there was the 'boob' incident.

    Tecumseh held our tracking dive on Saturday as well, led by Ian. Since weather was toying with us we had to do it a bit before sunset. It was very beautiful and I hope to post some photos soon, we left the slot next to Ian open, so Nate would have a slot next to his brother.

    Good ideas! Do they still make those hook rug things? That would be nice and then he could decorate his trailer at the dz at the same time

    Our dear cocheese is out for the season due to a bicycle injury, and it seems he has a lot more time on his hands. Shall we redirect his wandering mind and pick a new hobby for him? Any suggestions? I dread to see what his next post will be about if we don't do something soon!!

    It kind of depends on how many tandems we have, which we usually have a few. It definately picks up after 5 when everyone gets off of work and heads out to the DZ. Come check it out!! You can call ahead at 517.423.7720 to see what is going on.

    For the most part I am goal oriented and looking for what is 'next'. So many people inspire me and I want to be able to do what they do. Once I 'get' one skill I want to build on it and master it. Although 'mastering' is quite a long term goal for anything at this point! I think it is exciting to bust out a kick-ass 4 way, be part of a bigway, do some freeflying and work on my newest challenge, headdown. I also like to go have fun, geek my friends in the sky and go out with low time jumpers. Skydiving is definately a release for me, it's my time away from the real world.

    Welcome back! Even if it is for a visit. As Brent said, we are closed on Mondays, we do fly during the week, how much depends on how many tandems are there. Which lately we have had quite a few mid-week tandems. We do have some wonderful packers available, so you shouldn't have to worry about battling your canopy. We have a camping area available and a shower house, if you want to crash in the loft though, I would give the dz a call and see if that is alright. DZ phone is 517.423.7720.     Words cannot even express what I want to say. What a terrible loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to Ian and Katie and the rest of Nate's family and friends. My memories of Nate make me smile, he was truely an amazing person. I can't even begin to tell how many lives he touched and how much he influenced skydiving in Michigan. There is so much more to say...but I am at a loss for words. Blue Skies Chrissy

    That would be awesome! And mapquest always says the trip is a bit longer than it actually is. Just let me know if you need anything, place to stay, etc. I am happy to help out!!

    And don't worry, we will more than happy to make sure you have a ride to and from the airport. Plenty of places to stay on the dz. I have one or two extra tents, I may have my hands on an extra trailer for the weekend. I hope you can make it Sunnydee, been looking forward to meeting you!

    Hey Penelope! I met you a couple of weekends ago at Skydive Tecumseh, hope you had a good time. I can't think of anyone offhand who drives from there but will definately keep you in mind if I come across someone. I hope you can make it out soon! Chrissy

    Trying to figure out if I should pull myself out of the running for a job I interviewed for yesterday...not sure if I really want it. I don't even know if I will even get it, but I know I am at the top of the list.

    hey! Definately come check out Tecumseh, I unfortunately haven't had a chance to check out Mt.Pleasant yet, I work at the DZ and co-run the video concession so it is hard to get away...and not be able to jump off my account!! We have quite a few skychics at the DZ, I think even last weekend we were hanging out in the trailers and the chics outnumbered the guys!! It was definately a first...not sure who owes beer for that though! We are having a chics boogie July 23-25 with Missy Nelson and Amy Chmelecki, it is going to be A LOT of fun!! Freeflys, hybrids, tracking dives, oh my! Hope to see ya soon!
