As far as I know, welfare laws in spirit is only "transitional", please anyone with experience in this field add to this, I understand that there are circumstances that mitigate or factors in such as IE: Death of a parent, living a widow in economical distress, but on the other hand we have plenty of irresponsible people who just are baby factories. I will refer to the latter ones, and it is usually lack of education combined with a sistemic abuse of the system that worries some in here. Are you saying that if you are having 2 or more kids and are not able to feed a single one of them, is ok for the rest of society, (and most importantly the life condition to the kid's right to have a good home) to pay for the excesses of few? Perhaps a license to be parent should be issued, just like a drivers license, after attending courses.

Why don't you do the comparison on how those prisoners are treated to those of coalition forces or civilians when captured by these people. Go to Iraq and ask those "interrogators" on the opposite side, and see how good the ones in Guantanamo have it in turn.

Why are you implying that John is racist? When you say "We Don't know", you should speak for yourself. You have serious doubts of crime statistics it is not John's fault, as you are trying to get an absolute value or single explanation as to why are blacks more prone for indictments/sentencing in violent offenses than whites. One of the reasons most likely is poverty and lack of education, but definitely the Rap-gang movement is not helping things along. Thugs are thugs no matter what race color or creed, and if you had paid more attention to that Bill Bennett said, then you would not be having this discussion.

Well I guess that according to your views the father is not at fault at all, for firing on the police as soon as they arrived and barricading himself in closed quarters.... yep, I see the sole responsibility lies within the police!!!
