    I know I am biased...but here is what I wish for.... 1) A good world series....not a sweep, good pitching, better hitting, great plays in the field. 2) A Cardinal World series win. I remember the last time we won the world series. I was nine. My sister grabbed me, swung me around and then let go...so I sailed across the room. It was great! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    To add or subtract fraction, they must have common demoninators. To multiply....just multiply across the top (the numerators) and multiply across the bottome ( the denomiators). Then reduce if you can. To divide....flip the second fraction....then multiply. It is crucial that you remember to invert the second fraction and the second fraction only. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    As a child I think I was spanked twice. Once for running into the street alone, and once because i got into the pool area alone and without supervision. The running into the street I remember the spanking, but not what esle happened. The pool incident I was spanked as they were removing me from the pool deck (I never got into the pool!) and then then did not let me swim for two weeks. I got to sit by the pool and watch my sister and her friends play in the water every day. Not sure the spank was necessary in this case. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I am a math teacher...of high school freshmen. I have in one of my classes this year a boy who sounds a lot like your son. He has been staying up until 4 in the morning to get his math homework done. Here is the solution that his mom and I have come up with: There are no due dates for this student, as long as he is continuing to work. Which he does. what that has meant is that the pressure to get the work done in a certain amount of time is off and he can now work on the assignments AND get some sleep. He has gotten into a rhythm of turning in the assignements one or two class periods after they are due. His anxiety has gone down a ton. The deal, though, is that if he stops working or stops turning stuff in, he has to go back to the time frame the other students have. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    The funny part about cats yawning is when you manage to get a finger in their mouths before they are through....ususally startles them to find a finger in their mouths!!! Does the fact that i find that fun suggest to anyone else that I may need to get out more? ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Amen to that!!! I love sleeping on my stomach and have had to adjust since having ACL surgery. The worst was when every movement would wake me up with the pain!!!! I love to sleep in the cold...it is going to be in the forties tonight and I am going to keep the window open...yay! I love to sleep next to Skymedic, but not relaly in contact. We often sleep holding hands or with one part of our bodies touching (get your minds out of the gutter). I cannot sleep in full contact with him...just too warm. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I can only disagree with someone in Speaker's Corner? Then just about everything in Bonfire should be in Speaker's Corner....people disagree. Did not realize that we all have to get along here..... ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    You cannot be serious! How can an adult get so worked up about the holidays that they start bitching about it in September? If it is that awful don't go. Be an adult, put your foot down and say no. Or decide to go, be thankful for people who love you and want you around for the holidays and suck it up. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    I agree with this and all of what you said....HOWEVER... At 13 or 14 a child should not be put in situations where peer pressure and (and sometimes will) overwhelm them. There is no need for a 13 year old girl to be visiting a boy at his house. What are they doing there that they can't do at the mall? Or in a group? Why put your daughter in a situation that might get out of control? My 12 year old does not date. Pttsburg...you are not out to lunch. I have students (high school freshmen) who complain to me that their parents will not allow one on one dates. They "get around" it by going out in groups....which is exactly what the parents want! I have other students whose parents let them be a part of co-ed sleepovers! Yes times have changes, but we do not have to agree to all the new things!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    First dz.commer that I started really communicating with was a guy by the name of Skymedic. Started chatting with him five years ago because he mentioned having family near my dz. I am now Mrs. Skymedic.

    I tend to not do any work on the weekends at all. I am in my tenth year of teaching and have learned how to get it all done at school so I do not have to bring anything home. I do this so I can have more time for myself and time for my family, not out of religious reasons. ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

    Today was the first day of the new school year! Kids show up Thursday. I love the renewal inherent in my job. Each August is a fresh start with new kids. I get to do a better job each year. Plus my room is already set up....copies for the first two weeks are already done....I am set!!! ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
