Here's my little devil, Thomas James Kids rock.
-
Hey, thanks for the input guys - you all rock! For those who asked, I will read any genre...whatever I can get my hands on that's interesting. Some of these authors/titles are new to me and the list should keep me busy for awhile (sitting at the dz, you know...hurry up and wait). Some I want to reread now after being reminded of them! Thanks!

Hi all, I'm in a literary rut and looking for some new authors. Any recommendations? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan

Not that I have tons of experience myself, but I'd go with the Pro-Tec. You want to protect the noggin, especially if you are still biting it on landing. Just my 2 cents...

Hi Jen, I've got my A license but I've been out for almost 3 years so I thought the ground school would be smart. I just have to do one recurrancy jump though and I'll be good to go on my own. Hope to see you in WA soon - good luck in CA!!

Hi Jen! Congrats on your jumps! I'll be taking AFF in August at Snohomish so maybe I'll see you there... wendy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan

I jumped for somewhere between 2 and 3 years before I moved across the country with no $ and became uncurrent. Try to stay current if you can - it's a bit of a pain to get back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan

Does anyone jump with a Sentinel mk 2000?
skychicken replied to skychicken's topic in Gear and Rigging
I'm new to DZ.com so sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'd like some input on my Sentinel. I've heard from younger riggers that it is unreliable, but I've heard from older jumpers/riggers that it is perfectly reliable (and younger riggers just don't know much about it). I did my first 37 jumps with it and felt fine, but now I feel pressure to switch to a Cypres. $ is tight of course so I'd have to buy a used Cypres and I'm not sure if that's such a great deal. Any thoughts? Sorry for such a long post... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan -
Rivers Edge was great - though pretty twisted ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan

I'm done with training and have my A license, I just thought I should take the classroom part of the AFF again to review everything. A lot has changed since I graduated AFF in 2000... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can fly!! - Peter Pan

Hi all, After almost 3 years off I'm getting back into the game... In August I'll be retaking the classroom part of the AFF course and doing a level IV jump just to make sure everything is cool. I've definitely got the willies and I have to pee just thinking about that first climb out - but it feels great to be back. Be safe out there...
