My home drop zone is in Northern Florida and I live in South Georgia. When I started jumping there I was way outnumbered by Floridians, hence GAskydiver. Although, I'm not very creative and always open to a new username.
I realise I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I can't find anything anywhere on Roaming DZ.com about the new directions for the Mountain boogie Oct 15-17.
Knew it was time when they wanted to send me remote for a year to Korea, without my family. Been in 15 yrs at the time. Two long tours to Europe, with too many TDY's to count while there. Family was way more important than going away from them for a year. So I retired.
Transition was a little rough at first. Spent a couple months with no income, except retirement check, which at lest covered the house payment. After that I realized there really was life after the military.
Don't know if I'd go back in or not. I think I'll just leave it to the 20 year olds.
Also as with all other RoamingDZ events if you think you need it bring it.Packing tarps, rubberbands ,pullup cords,BEER,you get the picture.

Never been to a bare bones DZ boogie before, what size tarp wil I need to pack on? 8x10, 10x12, 12x20?
QuoteWe wil have enough O2 for a Total of 4-5 high altitude jumps.
Speaking of high altitude jumps. What's the ruling on us lowly "A" license holders? Can we or can't we?
MAN, that sounds awesome! The King Air is great, but an Otter and a Helicopter. WOO-HOO!
Please tell me there's no license or mimnmum jump requirement for the helicopter!?!?!?!?!?!
Can't wait for this one.
I'll try and get some folks down from Valdosta.
