  1. I've sent another email. Thanks for all that responded with info and offers to assist! 0_Gravity "...remember, plunder first, then burn..."
  2. Hello Community, Does anyone have a contact at Cookie Composites? I recently purchased something from them and I have an issue with it. Unfortunately, the link for returns on their site doesn't work and the email address I have for the individual who sent my receipt produces no result. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to correspond with someone there before I just ship it back and deny the charge but all attempts have failed. Rather frustrating all together, I was hoping to have a better experience. Thank you in advance! 0_Gravity "...remember, plunder first, then burn..."
  3. I'd like to take a moment to share my thoughts with the community. I ordered an Ouragon suit and the people at Ouragon (Specifically Nancy, Frankais and Chris) were very helpful in asststing me in selecting a design, etc. What I didn;t expect is what arrived. OH MY GOD, this thing is absolutely exquisitely made. The fabric itself is fantastic and either slips or grabs as much air as you would like. My speed range is from 100 to 185 mph - it's insane! I asked for a set of grippers and what came was a perfectly design matched set of blocks that integrate so well, they're difficult to see from a distance yet perfectly comfortable to use. In addition, the fit and finish of the suit is unlike anything I have ever seen. The cuffs are almost internal and the material outside doesn't interfere with the altimeter wrist band (read - no wear) yet meshes perfectly. I added padded knees & padded butt (hey - you never know) & they both have a heavy set of cordura on them. Unbelievable - simply unbelievable. Joe at Deland said it best, "Man, you're making the rest of us look like @$%& when you're wearing that!" My many thanks to everyone at Ouragon. I HIGHLY recommend their suits. I am yet to see anything comparable.
  4. Beach jumps this Saturday out of Flagler Airport. Starts at 10:00 am. Requirements are current USPA & D license. C-ya there!!
  5. Thanks - wish the news was better - it could be a nice solution!! (Still - it'd be fun to strap to my dog and see the world from his perspective.) By the way, do you use a top or side mount? 0G
  6. Does anyone have any experience with the Samsung X105L Sports Camcorder? I am looking for a lighter solution (yes - my neck hurts with the pc105) and I looked at one of these this weekend. The form factor sure seems right but I am concerned that the MPEG4 compression and framerate may not be sufficient for skydiving. Here's the thing - I am generally a freeflyer/fun jumper and I film the occasional tandem or so. I'm not looking to shoot HDTV. However, I do prefer decent resolution. Has anyone used this device and then digitally edited their video? If so, how did it come out? Blue skies and light winds for all!! Zero_G
  7. Hey man - thats cool. What's the schedule? Where are you leaving from and do you plan on being there all day? 0_Gravity "...remember, plunder first, then burn..."
  8. Get back to work!! ..hope all is well with you... 0_Gravity 0_Gravity "...remember, plunder first, then burn..."
  9. Hey NYC skydivers. Is anyone headed from Manhattan to Crosskeys on Saturday, 25 June? I am looking for a ride and willing to either pay gas/split car rental. Drop me a line back on this list if anybody is headed that way. Much appreciated!! 0_Gravity "...remember, plunder first, then burn..."
