Never trust anything that bleeds for several days and doesnt die... Always be skeptical about the advice you receive, especially the advice you get for free. Maybe you should try a safer sport, like golf! ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

www.render-vue.com hosts my site. You can not beat the customer service. Its pretty open, but they have scripts that will install osCommerce for you. As far as credit card processing, you need to find your own Internet Merchant Account and use a secure gateway. If you have a wells fargo near you, they can set you up with the accounts and the gateway, then render-vue can set you up with osCommerce that supports the authorize.net gateway that wells fargo uses. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Congrats! I just had a similar experience this morning as well. Felt like the interview went great and I've got the skills they are looking for, including all the skills/certs on their bonus list. Might be beer time soon ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I feel your pain :( I havent made a jump since Halloween. I ate it pretty good coming in for landing too (tripped on this damn mole hill 2 steps into my run out). Its been pretty cold, I may stay uncurrent until next spring and then save the money I would be spending to jump durring winter and jump extra next spring. I still havent gotten my A license yet either, I've got plenty of jumps, I've just been pussy footing around about the written part. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Thats a bit rough. While I agree that she may very well be a dumb bitch, no driver will be perfect as long as they are human. Also being a sportbike rider myself, I know that partaking in the activity of motorcycling, that I am at a bigger risk on the road with far less protection. It is much like the inherent dangers of skydiving, you could do everything right and still die. With Biking, you can do everything right and die as well. As a motorcyclist you must have the mindset that you are invisible to ALL other drivers on the road, and I take it as my own personal responsibility to avoid accidents. I know that before I had a bike, I've looked right through bikers, drivers are looking for cars and mentally filter almost everything else out. Have you ever been in a position where a pedestrian "ran out in front of you?" Same deal. And this is coming from a guy who has been rear ended and it cost me THOUSANDS of dollars for the PRIVELEDGE of being rear ended. The important thing is that everyone is still able to live another day. op5e: I am happy to see you are really levelheaded about the entire thing. I wish you a speedy recovery so that you can get back to whats important in life. Unfortunately you were hit, but I have a feeling I know what you'll do the next time you find yourself in the same situation. Be careful, they're out there. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Cant you accomplish the same thing with a table? I'd rather use a fixed table than a frame. As a question, do you really want the image to stretch to all screen resolutions? I browse at 1600x1200 on this monitor and I believe it would either look quite pixelated or else the image size would be huge for viewers at 800x600. If you've got a linky, it might help me to understand extacly what you're trying to accomplish. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

You mean shorts and a t-shirt under my jumpsuit isnt enough? Being a new guy and trying to figure everything out the first time is rough. I was reading an article in newsweek as I got my haircut yesterday about Space elevators. The plan is to use carbon nanotube technology to build a paper-light 3-foot wide ribbon that will be tethered to earth on one end and anchored to a satellite in orbit. The elevator would then climb the ribbon with cargo to reduce the cost of transport significantly. Think they will let us jump from it? Lift Port is a Seattle based company working hard to accomplish this. Very cool topic. http://www.liftport.com Big Picture: http://www.liftport.com/images/platliftcounter.jpg Clouds: http://www.liftport.com/images/Lifter%20In%20Clouds_c.jpg JUMP! http://www.liftport.com/images/Lifter%20Ascent_c.jpg Hottest honeymoon location: http://www.liftport.com/images/spacestation.jpg ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Thanks for all the advice! I am still trying to recover from a rough night of partying like a rockstar, so I hope this is coherent. The 2 fields in the database or both 344 characters in length, and I dont see any reason it should change. Being that varchar can only hold up to 255 characters I guess that is out of the question. I guess I will leave the datatype as a blob then. As far as SSL encryption goes, I am encrypting the values using RSA. I think thats right anyways, I use openSSL to generate a pair of RSA keys, then use the php openSSL functions to encrypt the data. The base64 encoding is used because I am putting the encrypted string in my source code when I retrieve it. When I click a button, it copy's the encrypted string to my clipboard and then I can paste it into an app on my local computer to decrypt it. If I dont use base64 encoding, then anytime there are HTML characters in the string, it messes up my code. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

You can use the picture as a page. Well sorta. You can just upload the jpeg and then your guests would have to type in an address like: http://www.myPage.com/myPicture.jpg But if you want them to access it like a webpage, then you will need at least an HTML file, and then call the picture in the html file so it displays. If you need help with it, let me know and I can give you a hand. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I am storing some encryted values in my database. Any advice on what is the best datatype to use? The values are encrypted in 256bit SSL and then encoded to base64 to weed out weird characters. Right now I've got my database column setup as a datatype of blob and each value is 344bytes. Is this the best datatype to use? Would it be wiser to store it as a varchar(256) or even a text field? My database is MySQL 4.0.20d. Thanks. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Steal a car and then drive to the airport. Once at the airport it wont let you in until you've got your pilots license. Simply pull the car alongside the concrete wall, then jump on the car and then up onto and climb over the wall. On the other side you will find a small cesna 182 (DoDo) or at the far end of the runway you can pilot a small corporate jet. You can climb pretty high in the planes, it just takes a while. There are helo's at the Easter bay airport, but I only made it there once and they were locked. The only thing that sucks about the rig is its a one time use only deal. So go to the building, get the rig, then go back out the door and to the airport. Happy jumping, I know I had fun ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

These 2 men didnt want to die, they wanted attention. There was a guy in Tacoma, WA that climbed atop one of the freeway signs durring rush hour traffic with a gas can not more than a month ago. The man shut down the freeway as police/fire tried to talk him down. After 2 hours, the man was safely on the ground with his gan can full of water. it is these people that are suicidal and reaching out for help, that are capable of doing it by their own means in private/non-conspicuous ways that have my sympathy. I really feel for these people who have the opinion that their life is not worth living and take their own life. No matter how bad it is, it could ALWAYS be worse. I would be more than willing to try and help these people help themselves. It is the other select crowd of people (as mentioned in the original post) that want to make it publicly known, that I have a serious lack of compassion for. They may need help, they may be mentally unstable, but there is no NEED inconvenience hundreds of thousands of people in the process. They are the selfish breed, and by my nature, I have little respect for selfish people. Sometimes I think we only have these recurring events because it is a 100% garuanteed way to get the attention they are so starved of. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.
