Its mostly packing issues as others have said. With the Infinity you really need to pack the main wide. I've watched Kelly pack a couple mains and when he was doing the S Folds I was thinking to myself "There is no way THAT is going into the bag". But it did and the bottom corners of the bag were tight. Having a good reserve pack job helps as well. For closing, stack the first 3 grommets and edge the last one up to the stack. Also when pulling on the pull up cord, pull opposite of the flap. When threading through the top flap (#1) pull towards the bottom of the rig, when threading the right sidebody(#2), pull the pullup cord toward the left, Left sidebody, pull towards the right. Lastly tuck in the corners of the BOC after the pin is in place. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

pack-volume: ZP vs. F-111 & 9 cells vs. 7 cells
Slurp56 replied to mostwanted's topic in Gear and Rigging
Its a case by case basis, but ZP "feels" like it packs larger than F-111 because it is alot harder to get all of the air out. The actual pack volume is marginal. 9 cells pack about 1 size larger than 7 sells, due to 9 cells having more fabric in the ribs. If you had a container made that fits a ~170 9 Cell snug, you could probably get a ~190 7 cell in there. Your best bet is to check the actual pack volume with the manufacturer though. Para-Gear's catalog has a good reference in the back, but its not the be all end all list of volumes. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw. -
There was a "Super Drunk" at the halloween party I went to. Made the "S" on his chest (superman style) with beer caps. Come to think of it, he double fisted all night long. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I was going to jump all over that if you hadn't In this case of being a resident and not a citizen, I dont have an answer. My understanding is that Roth IRA's are for citizens or residents. If you are a resident now and had your Roth IRA setup before Dec 31st, I dont see why you couldnt contribute the max for the year ($4,000 in most cases). I would phone a brokerage and ask over the phone, I'm sure you could get a straight answer. I go through Smith Barney and they have been pretty good to me over the years. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I dont really understand why people make these hate posts. I've seen a hundred of them and they havent influenced my opinion in any way, yet the poster seems to think they are making a profound impact on the consumers. Really all you've done is shot yourself in the foot... I am pretty sure that any help Icarus *could* have given you has been replaced by making your life as difficult as possible, especially since they have/had your money. Basically you arent gaining anything other than a little personal gratification in venting some of your angst. You definately arent making any friends by doing so, and no one wants to help a loose cannon. Resolve your issues in a professional manner or cancel your order. We've all had bad service at one time or another. Once you cross the line of bad mouthing, you cannot salvage the situation without eating crow. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

Masking tape? That is ghetto! I was thinking JB weld the underside then bondo the top A MIG welder really will be your best friend, but I understand if you dont have one and dont want to shell out atleast a couple hundred for one. However if you sand it to bare metal and disassemble it, I'm sure it wouldnt be tough to find a shop to weld the holes for you. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I crashed my car on friday. I dont have full coverage either, so now I gotta fix the damned thing. First time I've been in an accident that was my fault (and I've had more than my share of rear-endings and Tboning's). The guy I hit didnt signal and cut the corner but because I had the stop sign, I'm taking the blame. Had he signaled I'd feel alot better about the situation knowing that I fucked up. bummer for sure ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.

I just finished redoing my website I need some constructive critisim
Slurp56 replied to fireflytx's topic in The Bonfire
Ok, well for some constructive criticism :) The pictures that you've got hosted are amazing. They arent what you typically see on a day to day basis and really have alot of "WOW" factor to them! Fire eating, acting, skydiving, chicks. I mean, its pretty hard to top that, how much better can it get? The site on the other hand... Let me point you in the right direction. The first thing that I noticed was the HUGE picture sizes. The first picture I clicked on was a 304kb, 1500x2400 pixel image. In the web page you've specified to render it as 267x372. Basically its cramming 10 lbs of shit into a 5 lb bag with all of the weight. The weight is what we see on our end to take forever to load. To combat this issue, use a photo editing software, adobe photoshop is a killer one, and scale the image itself down to 267x372. This will put you at a weight footprint of about 43kb or 14% of the original file size. Your viewers will see this as a HUGE increase in speed and will hold their interest. The next big thing is to make sure that ALL of the links and images work. On the main page, whatever image is at the top center does not show up, I get the "Red X." The "portfolio" link does not work for me either. And finally, I am sure you are already working on this, but the style needs to compliment the content. Right now we can see some of the content, but there is nothing that sets it apart from say, a light weight Microsoft Word document. For the acting stuff, maybe make the background look like a stage, and for the fire breathing/eating stuff maybe a cool carnival or city skyline background, something that looks like a party! I dunno, I can help get you started if you'd like. I've got a decent collection of web page related resources as far as coding them goes. You might also try another Web Editor, I guess Adobe InDesign is supposed to be really good as well. I think your site could be really kick ass with a little more time invested in making the content look like it belongs where its positioned. But as always the case, Rome wasnt built in a day ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw. -

Being that I dont know you, can I start by asking a few questions? Who is the intended audience of this website? (friends, family, employers) What are you trying to accomplish? (file and phot sharing or use it as a tool to market yourself) ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw. -

I just built one a couple weeks ago. I used 1" high density foam for the rail and marine vinyl. The marine vinyl will save you some money and it water resistant. I found some really soft vinyl, but the lady working said that it will show water marks/stain if it were to get wet. With the way that WE play poker, you can be assured there will be frosty drinks on the table. I also found a really nice Faux Suede in a deep red color. I used 1/4 headliner foam under the playing surface. The table turned out great and was a pretty big hit around Christmas. The final step will be having my buddy air brush the table. Havent decided if we are going to do place holders or just hand rankings yet though. ________________________________________ I have proof-read this post 500 times, but I guarantee you'll still manage to find a flaw.
