  1. You couldn't be more right, my friend. However, it's alive and well today, even in the good ol' melting pot. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  2. I don't know where you're from dorbie but we don't do that kind of thing here in NY unless we're looking to get our ass kicked. It's a given in NY dorbie. If someone wanted to say a racial slur it's done in private, it's not done publicly. Is that so hard to understand? What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  3. Does what hold true? If a black person calls a white person a racial slur the black person getting a beat down? Of course, anyone will get a beat down. It all depends on that person. Is he a brawler? A computer geek? A family guy? An older guy? If it's the latter, a beat down to the black person is highly unlikely going to happen. That goes with any race. If it's a stand up citizen, words might be exchanged but delivering a beatdown is highly improbable. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  4. That's not disgusting. This video is old. And this is a repost. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  5. Are you referring to the NY style beat down? That's how NY is my friend. I hear it all the time. I hear all races getting discriminated all the time and they'll give anyone a NY style beat down if they're called a racial slur. That goes for blacks, latinos, asians, east asians, whites, middle easterns, etc. NY is a big melting pot. If you go up to anyone and call them a racial slur. It won't be pretty for you my friend. That's the sad and honest to God truth about NYC. Unless you're with 100 people behind you, calling 50 or less other people racial slurs, you won't walk away unscathed that's a given. NY'ers don't tolerate racism on a smaller scale. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  6. I'm not sticking up for him but it's possible he might have been ignorant and didn't know the term "nappy" was an insult. I have lived in NY all my life, and not the suburbs either. I've taken subway rides and bus rides or even walked down the street where female blacks would joke on each other by saying "Girl, your hair lookin' all nappy". Even in a lot of Black comedies and movies you'd have those lines too. Even regarding the term "Ho". I've heard them say "Girl, you just ho'ing yourself around with that man!" That has been in movies as well. My point is when non-blacks hear this and hear these lines in comedies or movies, they're probably under the impression that it's okay to joke around about it too. Like I said, I'm not sticking up for them, I'm just saying they're probably under the impression that it's okay to joke around about it too. As for me, I know better. I grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood. 90% of the people at my church that has 3,000 members are all black. I know how to act and I know how to not disrespect. Not everyone out there understands that or realizes that it would be a negative connotation. We both know what would happen if a non-black person went up to a black person and said that their hair was nappy. I know that around my way, they'd get a NY style beat down. 7. That's a dumb question. My hands get washed when I accidentally squirt pee on 'em. Duh! Seriously, NY is full of skells. So, yes I wash my hands all the time. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  8. Why? Don't you love the fact that she got slimmer, she had a baby and she won the 300 something million dollar lawsuit and just croaks after all these positive life changes? It's a bitter sweet end to this drama. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  9. duhhrrrrr....welcome to myspace. You'll get at least 3 or 4 non-skydiving friend requests. If they're a legitimately hot chick and not a guy pretending to be a girl, approve it. If they're not a hot chick I wouldn't deny the request. Just let it sit in your "friend request" inbox. If you deny, they'll get a message saying that their request was denied and then you'll have an angry stalker on your back now. So try to play it smart and try to stay alive as long as you can on the whuffo side of the world. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  10. It possibly means.... 1. She's a Christian and she'll forgive you of any future or past infidelity on your part in this relationship. 2. It means that the milk man is dry, the plumber's pipes are clean or baker put his bun in the oven. 3. She means she would forgive you after she pulls your heart out from your chest and stomps on it, skewers it then shishkabobs it. I say it's the first one since I'm a Christian too. Seriously, all jokes aside. Ask her, why she brought something like that up. A relationship is all about trust if you start thinking that she brought this up because she's thinking about cheating on you or has cheated on you in the past, your relationship is going to go downhill. Communication is the key buddy. My free advice to you is, "what you don't know or what you can't see won't hurt you" and "cross that bridge when you get to it". 12. Sorry to hear about you and your bro. It's unfortunate that men get the short end of the stick. Did you or your bro have an attorney? Wouldn't it help his situation if he had a high powered/high priced attorney? What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  13. I would do one but they don't have a category that has my salary bracket of $ 25,000 a year. I think the lowest one was a dishwasher and they get paid $25,200 a year. When I was a civilian, I was in your same boat. Everytime I got a new job, my salary increased by at least $ 8,000 a year. There are a lot of jobs out there that don't require degrees but heavy experience. Or they will require a degree but they will overlook it if your experience outweighs a piece of paper. Turn over every stone, you'll find one. Good luck. Oh yeah, get out of there asap. They say money isn't everything or money doesn't buy happiness but it does in your case. Get what you deserve! 15. In NY, it's reffered to as "Custodial Interference". He has a subpoena for her to appear in Family Court. The only problem is, he has to serve it to her so that she can appear in court. The problem with that is, he doesn't know where she is and no one in her family is singing for the birds. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  16. My cousin and his fiancee lived together for about 4 years. They have a child in common who is 3 years old. His fiancee hated NY and wanted to move back to Puerto Rico. She told him last month that she wanted to live there permanently. My cousin disagreed with her idea and told her that he wanted to stay here in NY. Obviously they had arguments about this day after day and it probably led to them falling out of love for eachother and what not. About six days ago, he left the apartment to run some errands. She knew he was going to be gone for most of the day so she took this opportunity to pack up her things and the child's belongings and take off with the child. It's been six days now and he has not heard anything regarding where they are or if they're even still alive and what not. He filed a domestic incident report with the police that very same day. He's been calling all her relatives and any possible location where she and the child might be at. Everyone is denying that they know anything about it. What advice can you offer to my cousin regarding this situation? Please help! Any suggestions will be very helpful. He just doesn't know what to do or who to go to help for. His situation is tough because they're not married and they both have joint custody. I believe he's getting a child custody lawyer today. Edited to add: It's all so confusing for him! His son is his life. He's very very depressed. Please help. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

  20. CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (AP) — It was not until a 42-year-old prisoner took a shower that surprised jail authorities discovered that they were holding a woman instead of a man on statutory rape charges. After the shower, Hamilton County Jail authorities determined that the suspect booked as Alexander David Cross was a woman also known as Elaine Ann Cross. The discovery also surprised several prisoners at the jail. "After about 10 days in jail, they figure out Alex Cross is a female," Assistant District Attorney Boyd Patterson said in court on Wednesday. Patterson did not immediately return a call Thursday seeking more information about the case. Cross had been in jail awaiting a court appearance Wednesday. At the hearing, she pleaded guilty to an aggravated statutory rape charge as part of a deal with prosecutors. The charge stems from a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl who believed Cross was a man. FIND MORE STORIES IN: Patterson | David Cross In exchange for the plea, Cross will not serve jail time if she stays out of trouble for six years. The charges indicate Cross and the teenager had some sort of sexual contact at least three times during June and July 2006. Patterson said the teen was "enamored" with Cross and had considered marriage when she thought Cross was a man. As part of the plea agreement, Cross must register as a convicted sex offender, have no contact with the teen and change her gender designation on her driver's license to female. Cross could not immediately be located for comment Thursday. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
  21. I think this is just preferential. This would all depend on a guy's specific pet peeve. I'm not saying that I'm a Don Juan but I can approach any woman. I can strike a conversation with any woman that I meet. If we have good conversation and if I'm getting good repoire with them then I have succeeded, if not I move on. I guess you could say most guys would think if a woman doesn't give eye contact or smile back at them when men smile at them that would probably make them unapproachable. I guess it's all about the smile!
  22. Cabs are for suckers? Why would you say that? Tell that to the million of NY'ers that take it everyday or as their daily commute. I can take a cab from 45th street and 3rd ave and get off at 6th street and avenue A for less than $12 and get there in less than 10 minutes. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

Haven't had that in a while. I've been traumatized by VanillaSkyGirl's recent photo posts of tranvestites. I'm afraid of getting a sausage surprise instead of getting a vertical smile taco. What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?
