I had the same problem with an avi file. It turned out that the specific format wasn't being recognized. Think it was xvid or something like that. Ended up having to go grab the plug-in myself manually and then it worked.

I narrow the field even more. If it's not someone that I hang out with on a regular basis (like going to the bar after work or jumping), then I don't chip in unless it's some momentus event like a first child.

I just ended one with a psychotic stalker about a month ago. Hmm wonder if she's reading this. Anyway, she calls me up about 2 weeks ago saying she wants me to go to counseling and that she's been in a mental institution the past 2 weeks cause she was so depressed over the break-up. Gah!

My brother's a weather guy for the military. Current conditions don't mean a whole lot either. His office is a tiny room with lots of computers and no windows. His computer could say it was sunny and clear and somebody outside might already know it was raining.

RE: Lucid dreaming. Had a bad experience with that years ago. Was having a nightmare and suddenly realized it was a dream. Of course the fear was still there so I couldn't control anything really. Tried to wake up and couldn't. Eventually figured I'd face the fear and that would wake me up, but also though, "What if it isn't a dream". Eventually decided to go for it and couldn't find the damn thing. So there I was, stuck in a dream, knowing it was a dream, not able to wake up. And I was sleeping because it was late, not because of a bad acid trip or anything.

I used a glue trap once to be "humane". I will never do that again. The snap traps were so much better. I'd much rather find a mouse with a snapped neck when I come home than to come home to have to listen to a squealing mouse trapped in glue. So I catch him in the glue, take him outside to the other side of town and set him free. Within minutes, a stray cat comes by and starts torturing him. Poor little guy. -
I can relate. I still to this day have never finished the game, Thief because of the zombie level. Scares the hell out of me everytime and can't sleep for days.

I don't remember the last day it didn't rain here. Hopefully you're right about NJ this Saturday. Will be more than worth the drive. Been almost 4 weeks since I jumped 8(

I've seen Sara around the DZ from time to time and had gotten a chance to talk to her just last weekend for the first time. She seemed like a wonderful person that could brighten anyone's day. I'm sorry for your loss to any and all who knew her.

Sounds fun, unfortunately that's about a day's drive each way for me and I'd rather have a 3 day weekend than a 1 day of skydiving weekend (I can skydive all 3 days if I stay home).

I've been eating cheerios and pancakes for about 3 months trying to have enough money lying around to do 2 AFF jumps a month. Almost done.. Can't wait to have a nice juicy steak.

i agree, it's never too hot to jump, but anything below 40F is too damn cold to jump.

I could do that if I could remember any of the text, subject, or anything like that. I just remember that I was home "sick" from work and it was about 4-5 months ago.

Awhile ago... like several months ago, someone posted a flash game on here where you had to light two torches or something. Was a puzzle and this takagism puzzle reminded me of it, so if anybody happens to remember this, hook me up with the link plz? Was on page 62 of the forums before I gave up looking.

I just got started on WoW about a week ago. I'm so indecisive that I now have 4 lev 16ish chars on Illidan (pvp).

A charlie brown tree is better than none at all. I don't even bother anymore. It seems to be such a waste to go through the trouble of putting one up only to take it down a month later.
