    Would have to be that bright pink jumpsuit my grandmother bought me one year. For one thing, I'm not a girl and for another, I only wear dark colors! Needless to say I returned it the next day.

    Yep was on at 4 EST. I saw it and when that guy did his first tandem, my heart almost dropped just remembering that first walk out the back door.

    Turned out to be warm enough by around 2pm today that I was sweating wearing my jacket... about 45F... cause I wore too many layers so I wouldn't freeze up there.

    Hmmm I know my mother did lots of white water rafting, but I don't remember my father doing anything adventurous, however my step-mother was skydiving when I was about 3 years old.

    That sounds like a lot of work. I can get the same effect that lasts about 2-3 days just by taking a sip of Gatorade.

    What a coincidence... I'm heading to the dz in about 20 mins and it's 32F right now.. Can't wait to see how freakin cold it is up there.

    Whoa a DVD... you must be rich. If I wanted mine on DVD I think the price was almost more than the tandem itself.

    I haven't liked my job for about 2.5 years now but I just can't seem to bring myself to leave for some stupid reason.

    I've been wearing a flannel under my jumpsuit, but then I start to sweat my ass off instead if I'm waiting around for awhile.

    Yep crosskeys has winter jumping. was just there last week when it was too windy again for us students and it was damn cold.

    Same thing here. Excited as hell on the way to the dropzone, get all geared up and hop on the plane no problems. Going up to altitude I look at the alti and see I'm about 2k from jump alititude and all of a sudden I start shaking. I mean absolutely terrified to the point people wonder why I wanna bother. The strange thing for me is that my fear is BEFORE the door. once I'm in the door, I'm ready and willing.

    Looking at that rig, I probably wouldn't consider it alone, but now that I see it with the rest of the outfit it looks great. Guess while I"m wandering around the shops looking at rig designs I should consider what my jump suit could look like with it now. Maybe I should just go with all black like I do with my clothes instead. It's a lot easier that way, hehe.

    As a matter of fact that's exactly what I did the last time the weather was too bad to jump. I spent about 3 hours in a packing class, tearing my fingers to shreds, hehe. Takes me about 20-30 mins to pack one chute and I'm still terrified at the thought of jumping a canopy that I packed, but at least I now know enough about how to do it that I can practice a bit after my jumps now.

    I'm heading down to Puerto Rico tomorrow morning. Only be there for a couple hours before I hop on the cruise though.

    My sister was on the first flight that left philly airport after 9/11 and she has a navel piercing. They made her lift her shirt up to show them what it was. Guess she's lucky about the location.

    I just so happen to work for a credit card processor and if we see what we deem to be fraud, we'll cut them off, but there are lots and lots of processors out there. Someone will pick them up again.

    10mph, cause as some AFP's found out the other day at my DZ when they went up with 11mph winds, when they were coming in for a landing it was 18mph. I'm not confident enough yet to come that close or over the max wind speed I'm supposed to be jumping in, hehe.

    The weather is the reason I've once again decided to postpone my AFP jumps until it's nicer out. Sure I'll have to do ground school again. No biggy. I'll just take a week off of work around March or April and hit the DZ everyday till I finish up then just switch it up to 2-4 attempts per month.
