I would imagine that if nothing else, the FAA radar network and all the airports, radar recordings, and radio recordings of Mike Mullins calling the Memphis tower (or wherever) for landing clearance would have been a little incriminating if it happened... One of my projects for one of my classes is to find an article concerning legal and/or ethical dilemmas in business. I have to get up there in front of the class and yap about this for a couple minutes. Of course, I thought I would somehow relate this to skydiving. What I was thinking was about how some whoffo got hurt, and tried suing the DZ etc... I am going to try to stay away from the whole Skydive Las Vegas thing, since those bastards are not representative of skydiving and skydivers. But if anyone has any links to whoffos trying to sue DZs, AFF instructors, etc, despite waivers??? I am trying to keep this pro-skydiver, obviously, so I am avoiding the SLV thing, random drug testing of tandem masters, etc... Something that even the whoffos will think is ridiculous, "Didn't they know it was suicidal to jump from a perfectly good airplane?", etc... Not to be one to judge, but at ~200 jumps, maybe you should be taking it slower, learning to pack, etc, before learning to skyboard around. I've had one, jump#114, when I was jumping a demo Cobalt 150.
