  1. When I lived in SA, Hollywood Pk and Hill Country Village were the places to avoid. Those cops would do anything to bump up their revenue... and they were only neighborhoods!!! Shouldn't have really qualified as a municipality, but that was a wile back.
  2. I bet you've *NEVER* been given a speeding ticket.... I couldn't write you one if I were a cop (unless you were just mean!)
  3. OUCH! You couldn't have really tried that, more than once anyway. Could you have?
  4. ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE ROLL!
  5. That's was a good one! How about "BANZAI!!"
  6. If you are running windows, you can go to: Control Panel->Folder Options->File Types (tab) Scroll down and select the file extension you want to change (e.g. mov, rm, mpeg...) and select the application you want to be the default player for that file type. Hope this helps. Trey
  7. I'm feel pretty spoiled with Opera. Has anyone used both, like one over the other?
  8. I bet he's standing in line already.... Cape, light saber and all!!!
  9. -------------------------------------------------------- I agree with mnealtx. But I don't believe so much in the seemingly mystical connotation of "there's just one person that perfectly right for you in all of the world". I think that there are many people that are very, very compatible for you but you have to be very patient to find one of those. When you do, and they become your best friend for life, then I think you've found your soul mate. I think people are in too big of a hurry to find that someone (if not just anyone) and end up spending years trying to make things work out with somebody that they're just not compatible with.
  10. Seems like those cards would be hard to shuffle. Do they get broken in like the others?
  11. you can right click on the link, save as, and play it as a wave file.
  12. jtval has excellent advise! I've actually had to use that tactic when I left my wife 2 years ago. She would call up hysterical non stop for the first week. After just a few times I got fed up with it, tried to tell her to calm down if she wanted to talk about things, which she wouldn't, then I just hung up the phone. When she called right back I just let it go over to voice mail. (thank god for caller id and voice mail) After about a week she caught on and calmed down. She did have a few relapses over the next couple of weeks, but I just went back to step 1. and let voice mail do the rest. Fortunately I've got the new version of voice mail that lets you hit '3' and delete the message without having to listen to the whole thing! Fortunately since then we've still managed to stay friends, after some of the divorce horror stories I've heard, kinda' makes me feel lucky. Hope everything works out for you! -Trey
  13. Don't think so. They don't have a pop server running. I found this in the email FAQ: Can I check my Dropzone Mail in Outlook or another email client? No. Because we don't provide a full POP3 service you can not check your Dropzone.com Email in a client like Outlook or Outlook Express. Adding the ability to check your email via POP3 is something we may add in the future but is likely to be fee-based. At this time the Dropzone.com web client is the only way to access your Dropzone Mail messages.
  14. Won't a really straight road work in a pinch?

  17. I think what I meant was Jump Breaks, wasn't it??? (sorry!)
  18. Can't they do a fly-by and pick you up?
  19. We will get to take jump brakes, WON'T we?
  20. you can still party with a broken leg can't you? (sorry to hear about that BTW!)
  21. Why aren't we all partying our asses of at the DZ instead of being parked at our pc's being bored out of our skulls?
