Thanks...DOM is 97. Any ideas about the harness size for jumpers?
-
Does anyone have a sizing chart for the Stunts Eclipse container? I've got a Type B and am trying to find the "recommended" size for it.
-
Man...And I sold my wingsuit. My doc said a hard opening will do me in, but I'm sure I could do this
-
Kris is correct. Look at the pictures from the base jumpers and how the string is used to tighten the fabric and make the surface area larger.
-
yup...jumped the access and it was wierd...nothing like a real wingsuit. Make yourself a tracking suit. Go over to the base forum and check them out there. I had a ton of jumps in mine before I did my first wingsuit jump, and was getting performance of a first flight student (or better) in the tracking suit. All from $10 worth of cloths from Old Navy (and string...string is important).
-
Make your own tracking suit. Search through the base forums for "smoke pants". I got a pair of rip stop pants from Old Navy (and a jacket for $10 total) and used that. I was getting anywhere from 75-85 averages and covering great distances (1.2 GR wind adjusted) Same goes for the PF suit. Save the money and put it towards jumps.

I had the forerunner 201 (older model) and it was crap. I sold it and got a fortrex 201 which was Much better. PM me if you are interested in it (said I can't PM you).

Wing Suit Boogie at Skydive Orange -- Oct ???
stratman05 replied to ScottGray's topic in Wing Suit Flying
wasn't with wingsuits, just the DZ in general. They were great when I was paying money for coaching. Once that stopped, they weren't nice. And I got reamed out by swoopers for changing my pattern high (1,500 b/c winds changed)..nothing drastic...I guess I forgot to look out for them. Almost been hit on the ground too. I think a boogie (money going into them) wouldn't be as bad, I just wouldn't jump there normally. Good luck though. I might have to come down for it. -

Will they let you? bad experiences all my times there...would be interested in another location in the east/atlantic. -
There's also other events. Most clothing lost. Biggest Wrap (number of people). The Houdini Act (who can clear or survive the worst wrap). j/k...Nationals has 4 events 4 way rotation (top guy rotates to the bottom) 4 way sequential (building differant formations) 8 way speed (time to build one formation) 2 way sequential (2 people building stacks and offsets)
-
amen to that...I was an athlete in school and started climbing...lost 20+ lbs and was (still am) in the best shape of my life.
-
medical issues are worse...had the time off (full week)..money set aside.

you can jump my 126 if you want

New Stunt Junkies Episode THIS MONDAY Starring Go Fast Athlete Luigi Cani
stratman05 replied to Gabo's topic in Archive
That's what DVR is for. I generally watch the last 3 minutes of the show, when the stunt happens. How many times can you here "This is the most dangerous stunt ever". Although I generally watch the skydiving/base jumping episodes in full. -
I found that after 200 jumps But doing RW/FF with family is fun too
