Any chance of getting an 'ACE' t-shirt also?

QuoteNice work dude! Also, keep jumping in skate shoes from wet exit points and sooner or later you will slip on launch. That will be very exciting when it happens. I saw people slip over the weekend in hiking boots on multiple occasions.. They have no more traction on wet plywood or most other surfaces, than skate shoes, maybe less because of the harder rubber that is used to make them.

Any chance that the pc mesh got caught on some exposed velcro? It seems pretty common for the shrivel flap to be pulled away from the velcro through ordinary movement..

I should've known better...I'm glad they didn't throw in a couple quotes for the articale about shannon.

Well boys and girls, I learned not to talk to the media without a lawyer present... After getting a comment on my wonderful quotes in the twin falls paper just wanted to say that I did not say "base jumpers think about death differently than other people" The first part is accurate... Basically the gist was "most base jumpers THINK about death" When asked if we ignore the possibiliy of dying. Tracy and I both conveyed that we thought most jumpers were very aware of the possibility of dying, as opposed to how popular culture for the most part is in denial.

thanks guys....guess I'll experiment a little.

Go for the platypus, it's just a collapsible water bottle, rolls or folds flat when empty. I use one, works great.

Be patient is my advice as well. Do alot more skydives, and just have fun. Do ALOT of canopy drills as well, not just a few. Find Find someone with more than 150 jumps to teach you, maybe take a course, then he would be someone to go with and mentor you from there.

whats the possibility of finding a cheap car over there?
-
very carefully, heheh. Maybe a thinner layer? 2mm instead of 8, thinner but maybe enough for added performance. deploying a parachute?Just land it! how about ribs in the wings, you could still collapse the wings at pull time..
-
how about weaving it into canopy's? if you happen to strike a wall, the canopy might have a better chance of staying inflated? If sound waves activate it , turbulance might as well, keeping the wing more true to form.Or maybe countinuos wind pressure would keep it rigid? wing suits?

well, marty ain't gonna sell you s#@t, if you don't have any jumps. How about alittle more history?

I say go asylum , the perigee II is the cleanest velcro rig in my opinion. the shrivel flap protection is very well designed. If you can try out canopies, thats best. After talking to people you will find people have very specific opinions. some poeple will say canopy A. is very responsive, while other people will say it's a dog? If you can't ? Buy an ACE.
