John Kerry showed up at my Halloween Party tonight
InflightSupv replied to InflightSupv's topic in Speakers Corner
Yep, John Kerry showed up at my Halloween Party tonight. In case you can't tell who is who, he is in between the kid trying to look like a storm trooper and the kid that I haven't quite figured out who he is. -
Rapper: Blacks "cheered when 9-11 happened"
InflightSupv replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Now that we have a "second" on that, all in favor say aiye.... -
What about the kids "no tolerance" policy of anyone violating his civil rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The key word in there is liberty. This is plain and simple stupid. Reading things like this make me want to consider home schooling more and more. A couple of psycho kids with neglective parents let their kids take weapons to a school in Colorado and kill their classmates. A true tradegy in anyone's book, but that does not give the right to everyone in America to go mad.

Rapper: Blacks "cheered when 9-11 happened"
InflightSupv replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
Source: Arizona Central Should be tried on treason for allying himself with Al-Qaida and hung if they found out he is guilty of actually saying this. -
Reading that you were in the Corps, I assume you are a gun owner. Do you want all your guns to be taken away forever? No matter what the other liberals on this forum say, that is the goal of John Kerry. He has voted for it time and time again. As a matter of fact, He has never voted for any second amendment rights. He wants to trade our sovereignty for the general opinions of some third world leaders through the UN. Having been in the US military, I would think you of all people would get the importance of our sovereignty, regardless if you agree with the fact that we should not be in any certain area of operations.

Nobel peace laureate says AIDS deliberately created
InflightSupv replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
I wasn't aware that the UN granted the Nobel Prize. It is granted by the Nobel Institute in Norway. As far as AIDS, it is killing all races of people everywhere. Worldwide Stats on AIDS The reason that it is affecting people in Africa at a higher rate is simply education. The developing world does not have a high rate of education for their people to understand the causes of this disease. It would be kinda stupid for someone to engineer a black race killing disease that kills everyone of all races. What an idiot this chick is. -
I'll drink to that.

Surely you're not gonna leave us hanging with the story there?

My favorite comment was when Kerry said that Bush got $84 from his logging company and Bush said to the moderator, "Need some wood?" I thought that was so funny.

MSNBC is a known left slanted network. Compare Fox's polls and I'm sure you will see a difference and another difference on CNN.

The post didn't say anything about cash sales. How are they gonna know, who bought which group? So if I go to WalMart and pop down a 20 and are they gonna record my name as a cash buyer? Are they requiring a database to attach lot numbers with peoples names that purchase them? Thats scarier than the bullets being etched.

Believe me, Lesson is learned!! No need to repeat that level.

I wake up from my nap today(I usually am at work and don't get one of those) and look around for my 2 yr old daughter. My wife is at work and I'm supposed to be watching the kids. She was supposed to be napping in her bed, but she is not there. I look all around the house and start to panic. Then I look at the back glass slider and the lock is up. I go in the back yard and horrified at what I see. She is soaking wet and all nine of our 4 week old lab puppies are crowded in their water bucket. The bucket is pretty big, so they are standing on their back feet with their front feet on the sides of the bucket. They are shivering. Its gotta be at least 80 today in Houston, but I guess they were still hypothermic with being in the metal bucket full of water. My daughter keeps taking puppies out and playing with them and putting them back in. I freak out for a second until my daughter looks up at me and says, "I'm giving the puppies a bath." How in the world can you be mad at her then?

Quote You have noticed that the democratic party has a lot of inherent contradictions, which is quite true. The republican party does too. Why? Because both parties will say whatever it takes to get elected.Quote I can agree with that.

I admire his determination, unlike his opponent who has never stuck with anything long enough to see it through. And yes that determination is a plus. It is very hard to stay the path with so many trying to pick a new path for us. If everyone would respect him and his position long enough, I wonder what we all could accomplish. Delusional?? For every person who says that, there is one who says the opposite. This country is split down the middle on almost every major issue of both parties platforms. You know the one thing that I just can't get is that the Dems are generally the party of the working man. The Repubs are generally said to be the party of the uppercrust. Then why in the world would a working man Dem pick a billionaire, and expect that billionaire to have his best interests at heart. WTF??? Why would the Dems who values 1st amendment rights in such high esteem, want to trash the 2nd amendment which got them that right in the first place? Why would the Dems who want to abolish the death penalty, think its ok to kill babies? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Repub., but I tend to agree with them more than not on a lot of issues. I think the Democratic party should be renamed the Parodox party. Its only fitting that John Kerry is leading that party right now. As far as Bush, I think he's just a man. Unlike some on here, I don't immortalize him. I think he does make mistakes and could have done a lot better. What I don't see is the huge set of Parodox's that I see with Kerry. Sorry, I just don't get it, but I'm sure you guys will enlighten me.

Had it yesterday in Houston. Went down there and sat all day and they didn't use me. Read most of a book I started on the way downtown(took parknride bus, because parking sucks in dtw houston) while I was there. Bring something to read.

I realize that a Bush supporter would find it difficult: While I do admit I do support Bush in this election, I think I do want to add that I'm not registered to either party because they both make me sick. As far as Kerry, I might actually consider voting for him, if I just knew where he stood. Not trying to joke there. He changes with the wind and I can't respect that. If it has to be the lesser of two evils, then I guess I'm in the same boat with everyone else, voting for the lesser. Just my .02. Hate him or love him Bush is like a dog with a bone, he won't let go. I respect his determination and truly believe "he believes" his course is right.

My comments. Try not to arbitrarily post everything you receive in email. Especially when it was posted in a thread below. Granted, I trust you guys when you said that it was posted before, although I was unable to find it, even after searching. However, I just wonder if you guys would have posted so quick if it had been an email praising the virtues of John Kerry. Just wondering.

Just received this email. Any comments? Subject: Trying to understand: I'm confused, I can't understand it. Maybe you can. I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have on guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe. Lemme see; have I got this straight? Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good... Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad... Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good... Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad... Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad... Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists- good... Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad... Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good... Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad... Clinton commits felonies while in office - good... Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad... No mass graves found in Serbia - good... No WMD found Iraq - bad... Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good... Economy on upswing under Bush - bad... Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good... World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad... Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good... Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad... Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good... Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad... Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good... Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad... Milosevic not yet convicted - good... Saddam turned over for trial - bad.. Ahh, it's so confusing! Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burden on Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not government. This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has been since 1991. It's latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special about those dates? Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave no explanation and provided no data for this claim. Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy men. Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame). Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

The IRS is probably scanning IP addresses as we speak to see if all that income is declared.

Curious on how you guys, or someone else, picked your usernames.

Yep, Montana, Wyoming and other states that are known for their wide open roads have had this in the past, but the Fed Gov't get involved. States enjoy getting the Gov't subsidy checks for the roads that we build, so they have to comply with the federal statutes. Hence the 55 for so many years everywhere. Been seeing a lot of 70 mph's lately, so I hope everyone is coming to their senses.

Here in Texas we have early voting, which begins mid Oct and goes through Nov 2nd. That way, its not a big deal to find the time to go and vote. Lines are not as long either. They don't tally until Nov. 2nd though. As far as absentee voting, who cares as long as they don't count the votes early to influence the election, until the polls close. Absentee voting is fair and gives everyone the opportunity to have their chance to vote. What is not fair, is that the media is starting to predict the election, based on the east coast, while the west coast is still voting. There should be a black out until all polls are closed so as to not influence. Just my 2cents.
