Then why aren’t they locked up?

I have one I use as a door stop.

Clearly it is horrific that bringing these kind of charges is a thing. But there is something I noticed in reading the story linked. There is no mention whatsoever of any of them leading to convictions. Are they all still pending?

Slowest start to Atlantic hurricane season…
gowlerk replied to brenthutch's topic in Speakers Corner
Well ahead of the average season now. Tropical Storm Milton formed in the western Gulf on Saturday morning just hours after it became a tropical depression, the National Hurricane Center said in a special alert. The 13th named storm, which uses the letter M, is running ahead of pace – it doesn’t usually occur until October 25. https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/05/weather/tropical-storm-milton-florida-gulf-of-mexico/index.html -
I am guilty of sarcasm often. But I was serious in saying that I appreciated your resort to more standard and easy to understand English.

Kenneth Scott Gowler is the name I was given. Both sides of many issues are known to take things very seriously to a point of being overwrought and over emotional.

My FB feed is full of reels depicting the scope of the aftermath.

Skydiving instructor at California center gets prison time
gowlerk replied to BIGUN's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
And as a skydiver you would repeat the lie that all 20 were "wrongful"? -
RonD explained all that years ago. Feelings are the only facts that matter.

Ended too soon as far as I'm concerned. The story of residential schools is one that I am intimately familiar with. More deeply than just my collection of orange shirts. Attempted cultural genocide by the theft of children was bound to fail. The anger against the evil religious organizations who abused and used innocents will not end as long as living people are still dealing with the scars. It is a multi-generational horror story that is still fresh and only beginning to heal.

In Melania Trump's new book she comes out as a lifelong believer in choice. https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/02/politics/melania-trump-support-abortion-rights-memoir/index.html

Congratulations. That is almost a correct use of the English language, except for the lack of a question mark. I appreciate the effort. I don't know the answer to that question, but I can say that there is a general sense of relief that rather than mass graves there were merely about 4 or 5 thousand children who died while attending residential school and some of their bodies were returned to their homes.

Well...that and a per capita GDP of over 100,000 USD. Along with a banking system adept at concealing the wealth of other nations and really good chocolate.

I respectfully disagree. His own talking is nothing but self indulgent faux rhetorical gibberish without any true meaning other than that the modern world pisses him off.

Maybe if Canada needed to it would.

As the nation with the strongest military and economy by far the USA has the strongest incentive to maintain the current power structure. If you are part of one of the nations that benefit from this fact, like Australia or Canada, or most of western Europe it is also in your interest to help and support the USA in maintaining it. Even if people like Joe feel the need to occasionally rub it in your face.

Based on this quote I would simply go with $700.00. Or $70.00. Prove me wrong.

So it's like what you would have if Wikipedia had no editors.

It’s part of the aerator. It is the part that restricts the flow to 1.5 GPM. The rest of the aerator is still doing its thing.

Stuff like that is important.

Be sure to use an old fashioned toilet and not one of them fancy water saving models.

It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to make that accident happen. It way easier than when I accidently did the same to my shower head. I'm guessing almost no one would put it back. But I am located in a place with no water shortage.
