I don`t know if you`re right or it was just stupid me, but I crashed (see avatar) after 90deg downwind landing trying to hit the gates. Low, downwind, gates, high temperature... ...oh and me thinking i had skilzz (not mad, just skillz). dudeist skydiver #42

Mornin`. My day began with my boss calling me on the phone issuing tasks. So it`s all fun and games. rest of the week is going to be busy... But my workmates made me coffee today. Nice from them! dudeist skydiver #42

+1 to morning. Lots of work in front of me for today. My office mates did not make any coffee today for me. Sh*t. I`ll have to go and get some myself. Not dudelike. dudeist skydiver #42

Hey, I might actually try that this weekend! I can pick up at least 5 dudes and we have AN-2. But it seems like too much work... I think I need some spiritual support. dudeist skydiver #42

If I ate something like that I would sleep for the rest of the day... (* especially with this weather). dudeist skydiver #42

Oh, i like this shit too, but we don`t have a dedicated name for it. Are you going back to work after eating that? dudeist skydiver #42

Me too. I`m never bored. But it`s pain in the ars to get all of them to agree to pull at right altitude. dudeist skydiver #42

I was gonna get all mad about you beating me to #42 but then I sat down until I didn't feel like it any more.

Yeah it sucks... I can refuse to do all other stuff that don`t fit in my job description, but on the next contract renewal, guess who is out of the job? I`m really interested to know what is like with the rest of the folks? The biggest problem here (and there) is that skydiving is season work. I earned more money shooting tandem video last summer than at my regular work. But when the winter comes... dudeist skydiver #42

I`m teacher assistant. I teach college kids practical use of computers in multimedia and animation. That`s my official occupation. Unofficial is that I`m everybody`s bitch. Student advisor, computer maintenance for professors, for laboratories, all sorts of graphic design/desktop publishing/web publishing/propaganda material creator etc. Fck, I`m low in the food chain. The higher you are, the less stuff you get to do (professors just do their classes). Oh and I do all other skydiving stuff jobs. dudeist skydiver #42

Mornin` all. I`m taking my shot of caffeine this morning while resurrecting zombified PCs. Successfully. Leaded skies here too... dudeist skydiver #42

Knee is sucked out of water and pain free. I should be able to jump if weather permits.

I just looked at the forecast for the weekend. From tomorrow until Saturday = rain. Not again... Well, maybe it will change. We still have 2 days. dudeist skydiver #42

Missed my morning coffee yesterday. Doctor drained ~80cc of water out of my knee. No gold fish were found in there. dudeist skydiver #42

Well I for sure can tell you that AADs (for sport jumpers) are not required in Croatia. AADs are not required for students on static line either (which was one of the factors in fatality a couple of months ago). Bring all of your licenses and papers for gear. Have an AAD. And you are good to go. At least in south-east part of the continent. dudeist skydiver #42

At my DZ we use rubber band to stow upper brake lines together. Rubber band is stitched on slider or just looped around inner attachment point of brake line to tail of the canopy. I jump at this DZ for the last 3 years and we did not have a single lineover since. Still I don`t see many people using this "trick"... dudeist skydiver #42

You can look at this ones for an idea. Or you can buy it. dudeist skydiver #42

Check their pocket calculators.. Pencil writng hardly shows up against a black plastic background unless you hold it against the light in just the right way. Of course, I wouldn't have any first hand experiece with that Naaah, they were working on a computers. I guess I was looking too scary for them to try anything. I predict ~50% pass rate. dudeist skydiver #42
