Better yet.... Three time and you'll be over it!
-
Afraid of what???? Tell me twice!

I agree with you there.... I find that usually I can write the code in a very simplistic manner that anyone should be able to follow it easily, but there are occasions when there is a block of code that gets pretty hairy. Then I will add a comment above describing what's going on.
-
Not really! I've been writing code for over 15 years, many people have had to come behind me and make modifications... I have only had compliments about my code and how easy it is to follow the logic in what I was doing. I have a *very* strict coding style. Also, I'd never write: int a; for and account number, probably something more like: int acctNbr=0; -Trey

Second that one!!! Comments are too close to being documentation for me.... I usually have to have the coding done yesterday, so I don't have time to comment (well that's my story anyway).

Fitness people! How to minimize soreness from a workout?
tweak replied to Rebecca's topic in The Bonfire
I used to be a bodybuilder sooo here's my input: When you first start a workout routine, start off slow and work up to a more vigorous workout. NEVER workout the same muscle group when it's still sore. I've heard a lot of people say keep working them out and the soreness will go away. This is simply not true. If you keep working a muscle that's sore and it takes 4 or 5 days (depending on how hard you worked the muscle) to recover, it probably would have been fine after just a couple of days. A lot of people think the soreness is a build up of acid in the muscle, actually when you work a muscle strenuously you create very small tears in the muscle. This causes a slight traumatization of the muscle and this is the soreness you feel. If you keep working the muscle you are only making matters worse. Another problem with working a sore muscle is you will be more prone to injuries. I pushed a back workout one time when my back muscles were still a little sore and wasn't quite ready to be worked again and ended up tearing muscle (couldn't hardly open a door for a week or two). I've never really taken anything for the pain after workouts, but when I do I take Aleive. I asked my pharmacist what's the best thing for post workout soreness and she told me Aleive was better than aspirin, tylenol and Ibuprofen. I forgot exactly what the reasons were, but I took her work for it and it seems to work pretty well when I have to take it. Just my 2 cents, but if you need a second opinion ask some of the regulars around the gym. They are ususally always helpful to new people and very willing to help. When I first started working out at a real gym, I watched the hard core guys that were in there every day and asked for advice on training and techniques and learned basically everything from them. Also, depending on the size of the gym, there's usually one or two people that work there hanging around that are usually certified personal trainers and they can be very helpful as well. Hope this helps and hope I didn't bore you to death with too much detail. Congrats on getting into the gym. If you want to get good results stick with it, adopt a healthy diet and make it part of your lifestyle. -Trey -

Catnip bag on a thin bungi string is a blast too! Toss it onto the middle of an open floor and pull right before they pounce... Repeat as necessary.

I like the way you think, all natural would be best. With that in mind, capcisum oil would probably be better... with peppermint oil the cat would be tempted to lick it off. With capcisum oil, only once

Ooops! I meant TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction).

Thanks for the heads-up, Billy. I know there wasn't a TSR posted for Talledega, but I didn't think about all of the extra traffic being a problem and I don't think they'll setup their temp atc there for a smaller race like this one. It would really suck if we got shut down, supposed to be awesome weather this weekend.
