  1. I know the topic of insurance has been talked about a lot. But cant seem to find what I'm looking for. I am going to New Zealand for a year towards the end of november. And need insurance to cover all the usual stuff (medical etc.) as well as jumping. I have looked at so many companies they are all merging into one. Either they cost an absolute fortune, or cover 2 jumps, or don't say what they cover. Has anyone (UK?) taken out insurance for jumping for a year. Any recommendations? Companies not to go with? Nelly PS If anyone wants to jump i should be getting into Auckland at the end of November. I dont have a job set up but I'm working on that, will be looking at traveling around the country at some point as well. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Edited: Spelling
  2. Well it's back again, this time it's made it over to the UK - but asking for $. Asking to email a gmail account http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Complete-skydiving-rig-mirage_W0QQitemZ260021852054QQihZ016QQcategoryZ2595QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Nelly
  3. Hiya, If you could please take the time to read this I would be very grateful. I am about to go into my final year of my electronics degree, and part of my degree requires me to do a project. The project lasts 6 months, and I was thinking of developing a system that could help blind/partially sighted skydivers under canopy. This is a very rough idea at the moment and I’m not even sure if/how it would work, but at the moment it would consist of various transmitters which would monitor the height and placing of the canopy and have a built-in landing pattern, via a radio link these instructions for the pattern could be given to the pilot (these might be verbal instructions or beeps). Any other ideas or suggestions would be very helpful, I don’t need to start the project until January so I have plenty of time. If you would like to know more feel free to PM me. Thanks again Nelly
