50 Mistakes Women Make When Having Sex. NSFW??
EddieJ710 replied to meridianjumper's topic in The Bonfire
so jeremy what does the misses think of this list? lmao!! see you this weekend! -
it comes down to this...you pay a packer..you take your chances. if one of us...yes i am a packer..does something youre not comfortable with, let us know, choose another packer, or pack it yourself, but if that rig goes on your back and you get on that plane....its on you. as said in the SIM...the jumper is ultimately responsible for his or her safety on a skydive...that begins with the packjob..... and with that.... IMHO, its always a good idea to follow the manufacturer's recommendations when closing a rig. just leaves little room for any questions to be asked....

it just let me vote 6 times as well...now ill jump on the computer at work and then school....that will give you 18 a day from me...

as a packer..i expect to set the brakes, uncollapse the slider and cock the pilot chute....it is part of the job. but..as said earlier in the thread...the rigs with that done already are first in line..! however, i HATE IT when jumpers bring in a big ball of sh*t for me to untangle. when you pack 20-30 tandem rigs a day on top of all the sport rigs, having to stop and take much more time on a packjob untangling lines and fixing step-throughs, etc, you get pretty irritated VERY quickly.

until i realized that i didnt pay attention to my body position on opening, i had off headings on my s2150 as well. now that i have improved my body position throughout the ENTIRE opening sequence, perfect on headings all the time. and by perfecti mean perfect. symmetrical packing helps too.

Hard 90 Off Heading Opening on my Sabre 2
EddieJ710 replied to Inthebuff's topic in Gear and Rigging
all of my jumps off of student status have been on various size sabre2's. neatly flake, dont roll the nose, dont push the nose into the packjob, dont touch the nose at all, roll the tail nicely, thats it. ive been a professional packer for 3 years and i dont have any problems nor have i ever had any complaints from folks who jump the sabre2. just my two cents. good luck.
