You will learn a great deal from Scott. I have taken the essentials course twice and the advanced once. I also have done some coach jumps with him. All I can say is the man is awesome. Scott will break everything you need to know down and explain it in the simplest of terms. You will benefit greatly from the course.

When we ripped up the carpets in our rental homes we put in Pergo flooring. It looks great and the instal was a breeze. The floor’s are about five years old and they are still in perfect condition. Our renters have big dogs and there are no scratches what so ever and they are easy to clean too!

Quote I duck taped my child to his bed this morning while he was sleeping (he still asleep), then later tonight I am going to break the news (tears and all, PLUS a for sale sign!) that we HAVE to move and be out by Monday...I have the boxes and everything. Hehehehehheeee Quote I like that. Too bad my son is a light sleeper.

Oh we love this day as well. It’s all fair game here in our house. So far I plastic wrapped the toilet and hid my SO’s new car in the neighbors garage (I cant wait till he wakes up!!) And its still very early! Hee hee!

When I turned 30 it freaked me out more so than it did my SO when he turned 30. My SO has 2 years to go before the big 40 and it doesn’t seem to phase him one bit. To him it’s just a number. As far as doing something for your SO has he suggested anything? My SO drops little hints as to what he would like or like to do for his b-day. Like for his 40th b-day he wants to go back to Greece for a few weeks. (Thankfully I have two years to plan that) This year he is going to Costa Rica with his friends for a month. (lucky bastard! But I love him!)

The Harley & the Chicken On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help! Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with the only tractor. Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Harley. Finding the keys in the ignition, the chicken sped off with a length of rope hoping he still had time to save his friend's life. Back at the bog, the horse was surprised, but happy, to see the chicken arrive on the shiny Harley, and he managed to get a hold of the loop of rope the chicken tossed to him. After tying the other end to the rear bumper of the farmer's bike, the chicken then drove slowly forward and, with the aid of the powerful bike, rescued the horse! Happy and proud, the chicken rode the Harley back to the farmhouse, and the farmer was none the wiser when he returned. The friendship between the two animals was cemented: Best Buddies, Best Pals. A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too, began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life! The horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle. Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his hangy-down thing and he would then lift him out of the pit. The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled him up and out, saving his life. The moral of the story? (yep, you betcha, there IS a moral!) I dislike yelling and don’t respond well to it. I don’t raise my voice/yell. There are too many other ways to get you point across that does not involve yelling. When something/one upsets me I talk about it with them. At times I can be a little short with my words but I do not yell.

You know you love your dog(s) when you get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the couch because they took over your whole bed!!

My favorite is the Sunflower. Why? Every time I see one they make me smile! My second favorite is the Plumeria (the flower they make Hawaiian leis out of) they are super fragrant.

loves2jump2 replied to Viking's topic in The Bonfire

He/She is beautiful. Love the wrinkles! Ridebacks are great dogs! I agree with the crate training. Get the one that grows with your dog that way you don’t spend a small fortune on crates. I crate trained all my Golden’s and never had any problems. As far as people food, I do let them have fresh fruit and veggies sometimes but that’s it. Good luck with him/her!

Why Skydive City(Z-Hills) is better than Skydive Deland
loves2jump2 replied to stitch's topic in The Bonfire
Deland has loads going up for the most part all the time. We have Scott M. Yuki, Lactica, and Skymama plus a bunch more. The Perfect Spot is kick ass and so what if you have to smoke outside. Everyone in Manifest is awesome! The landing areas are great and there are plenty of outs if you need. In all honesty I have yet to jump in Z-Hills so I can not say which one is better than the other one. I am sure just like other DZ’s they each have there own uniqueness. -

When my sister was in debt actually I should say deep debt, we looked over all her spending habits. We found ways for her to cut some of her expenses, i.e. cell phone plan, her cable bill (did she really need over 300+ channels?) I had her start making her breakfast, lunch and dinner at home, found a less expensive place for her to live, and got her into a loan as to where she paid off all her credit cards (department ones too, she nearly went into shock) we closed all the credit accounts and yes, make sure you do this because you don’t want revolving accounts on your credit. Little by little her debt was going down. Now 5 years later she owns her own home, her car is paid off and she actually has money in her savings account. As for me, I don’t consider having a mortgage as a debt. Its an investment for me and my future. I have worked my ass off, invested and I learned by watching some of my friends get trapped by debt. I am blessed to have a great job and my education was paid for by scholarships. My best advice is to check into a debt consolidation loan so you are not paying a bunch of different interest rates. One payment, one interest rate.

My favorite!! Pinot Noir La Crema Sonoma Coast about $20-25 depends on where I buy it. Pinot Grigio Santa Margherita around $29.00 a bottle Opus One Proprietary Red Wine about $150 a bottle (I only spring for one of these if I met my quota in sales)

QuoteAnother Today Show segment (They should be paying me) I'll put in a good word for you with Matt! I think its a great idea, anything to assist in catching the bad guy. Gotta love karma!

For me it depends on who it is. If it’s a business contact I leave a message. If its one of my friends and I know I will see them shortly I hang up unless its something important like Hey pick up two bottles of red wine while your at the liquor store.

I agree! Screaming adults is one thing and for the most part we can handle ourselves but when you see or hear a child screaming that’s different. They are not able to help themselves and we as humans should not turn our heads and pretend not to see just because of “society” and the belief that no good deed goes unpunished. It’s down right wrong. For me personally if I were to see or hear that I would not think twice about helping that child. It would be automatic. Honestly I don’t understand how one couldn’t help! I have brought my child up to scream and kick like hell if he were in any situation like that and I hope and pray that if that situation ever did come about that there would be someone like me there ready to help.
