No, it's Water Ice

We call it Italian Ice here in Florida. Maybe “Water Ice” is a northern thing like Pop = soda. I admit I was wondering what water ice was.

One meeting today and them I get to play, play, play all weekend! I am so excited, the weather is going to be great. We are going to jump on Saturday and spend Sunday in Orlando!

Not everything in life can be fixed. I used to be that “fix it” type of person too but through various experiences I learned that I cant “fix” everything. If you two are friends, this will all work out. When you are around her, just be yourself. Your not the one who changed, she is. If it doesn’t work out, ask yourself is that the type of friend you really want to have?

If you really feel that you need to discuss this with her, wait a few days and let things (tempers, feelings etc.) calm down. Invite her out to lunch or something like that and if it feels right then talk to her about it.

I would never use soap or tabasco sauce or anything else to that nature. My step father did that to me once. I believe there are many other ways to get your point across and they do not involve physical punishment. I believe in talking to you children. Communication. When my son had an incident like this we talked about it. I expressed how disappointed I was in him and how I knew that he was better than that and there wasn’t a need for the language he was using. I told him that if he happened again there would be consequences and I listed them. It happened once again and when he looked at me I could see it in his eyes that he was sorry and he knew he did wrong. His consequence was no friends over for two weeks and no video games. Plus I made him write a paper on right on wrong. Its been well over a year and no bad words.

I would honor the Hubby request. We on the outside don’t know what really goes on behind closed doors. We could always “assume” but then that’s not right either. I would just stay away from subjects that might set her off and let things settle.

Chris Daughtry has my vote but I also like Taylor Hicks, just because he is different. Yes poor chicken little (Kevin Covais) has to go and I think Disney would be a great fit for him. I do have to give him the E for effort. I think one of the worst last night was Elliott Yamin. Well thats just my 2 cents.

I always smile and say "Hi" or Hello" even if they are staring at the floor, having a bad day, etc. I know it will make at least one persons day a little better.

I loved that show. It reminded me of my internship for culinary arts. We had a chef just like that! When my internship was over I was so glad. For me personally I don’t think I could have taken his shit with out stuffing it right back to him.

I am so sorry to hear that about your kitty. I know that one day soon I will be going through the same thing with Oscar, I have had him for 20 years! He has been with me through everything. It is tough and I am sending you positive vibes. I agree with RL when you have had a pet that long it is hard to say goodbye.
