Well being new in the game I noticed a lot of other new people. When you add to the populaton then consider the addition to the population isn't experianced the chance of death goes way up.

Whats some good online stores? I will probably buy most of my gear from the local DZ store but I wont be back there till winter and I'm just getting started so I want to see what the aprox cost of gera will be.

LoL funny story on the topic. A girl I dated when I was 16 had this whacked out alcoholic father. Really cool guy when you get to know him but strange. Anyway one day recently as I was going over there a lot he started talking about guns and was like ya know I got a nice shotgun and I like cleaning it often. So he busts it out and I sit there and we talking about guns a little and at the end of the convo he is like you are the first guy not to pratically run out of the house when seeing me take out my gun. So we got along well after that and gained a good mutial respect for eachother. Eventually he even asked me to be prepared to use his shotgun when they were having a bear problem in the case he was to drunk to operate it lol.

I mixed up some of my friends videos using the song from the offspring called nitro. Anything off their album smash is good for getting pumped. Bad habit is also another good bet.

Well just recently I did my first jump (tandem) and what can I say....I loved it. So when I got home I decided wow I think jumping without being attatched to someone would be....godlike. So I figured the net is always my source of info so I came here and also went to the DZs website for info (the ranch in NY) and decided I want to go back there to learn to jump. Well here in NY it is balls cold this time of the year and it just seems like the wrong time to get into it so now I gotta wait till spring. This sucks I keep watching my friends video where there is like a 10 second clip of me falling taken from the plane and I keep repeating it thinking like a little kid at disney "I wanna ride again!". Haha just my rambling at 3:20am.

Ok well this is an interesting first post but here goes. Acid flash backs are a joke. They are made up. People who have them make them up in their head. The rare exception is when a situation that is similar to something that happened during a trip causes you to remember what happened during hte trip. Easiest way to explain "flashbacks" is like this. You heard lots of stories of WW2 vets getting flashbacks when the opening scene of saving private ryan was playing. Reason is these flashbacks can happen when we relive a period of profound mental impact. I would say it would be unlikely skydiving would cause any resembalance to something that happened during a trip. Now for my opinion on drugs being used at a DZ? HELLLL NO! I'm perfectly cool with any recreational use and may even indulge a bit myself, but I will no ever consider jumping with someone after they spent their time doing lines while waiting for their plane. So drugs after the day is over, cool, during, no way.
