I have observed 2 guys of similar shape using different flying styles. Robi confirmed my observations that his style is different from James' but gave no reason, other than each person does what works for them. So for myself I now plan on averaging their styles as my plan of action. Guess it's kinda like off-road motorcycling techniques...a bit of an art, but that's way off-topic so nevermind. How other people fly the suit may not be relevant or translate to what works for you, especially since alot of people are not shaped like you. The only thing you need to do to improve is jump more. Thanks for all the info Yuri. I realize you've flown with Robi many times, but IMHO I think you're shorting him some credit. I've flown with him so to say anyone can fly a V2 .5 better than his best in the Vx is difficult to fathom unless you're comparing dissimilar environments (sky vs base). I think you're asking the wrong questions. There's a right way to do it and a wrong way, I think you've investigated the wrong way (IMO rule#1 is you can rarely ever say what you're really up to, unfortunately, unless they're really understanding people). Think of rephrasing your line of questioning to be inconspicuous rather than conspicuous. Kinda like camouflage for questioning; it's gotta look like something else. Yes, experimentation is good, provides good learning experiences. Since my time is limited, I'm subscribing to capitalist economic theory which says that you get the most value from a product when the most efficient producer is producing that product.
