  1. I have one, got it at vanns.com for 500 free shipping. It's SMALL (size of a pack of smokes) and it works well. The video quality is nowhere near DV but is definitely good enough for use debriefing/coaching. Both the built in lens and the remote lens are about "normal" aspect ratio as compared to my old sony DV unit. Meaning that flying slot, you don't get everthing youd like, but if you back off 5 feet you'll get the whole jumper in frame. Nice thing is it's Digital Memory only - no tapes to rewind. It comes with 512MB memory and that'll get you about 10-12 minutes of video, you can add more via Pro Sony memory stick. The battery is good for maybe 5-7 jumps, but charges quickly. All in all I like it, but wouldn't use it for video that I need high quality for. But for the price and size I give it thumbs up.
  2. I am still trying to figure out how something went so very very wrong... It all started as an innocent no-stress sunset load, until these three big MF'rs show up and TELL me that they are gonna jump and that I'd better keep up! Oh well, weights are more comfortable without a jumpsuit on anyway! "Little B" 240 Lbs WITH gear.
