    If you are looking for a canopy that opens good, I would suggest something non crossbraced, like a katana. If you are looking for performance then crossbraced is the way to go. If you want descent performance with descent openings demo a Katana. you will end up giving up performance for openings, so you need to decide what you want more. Buying any 7 cell crossbraced other than a velo is just wrong.
