Ugh........that is a cop out. If it's important enough to you, you can budget it in. If you can budget to make skydives, you can budget to get renters/homeowner's insurance. It's all about priorities. No No NO It ISNT a cop out. Insuring a home that doesent exist or insuring my rented domicile-that ALSO doesent exist. Is the reason I posed my question of IS THERE OTHER SEPERATE INSURANCE. Judgement by you is irritating. I cannot insure what I do not have. I value my rig and camera gear most of all-but need a suggestion as to how I can give it the coverage it needs and still make you happy. If i skydive- I know about prioritising thank you. Nobody skydives without learning some lessons on that...redundant.Sheesh. Yes, sheesh.Insurance for that is not part of my budget not because i dont have either of those policies to add it to. Pay attention-I was asking for suggestions to remedy this. Thinkin about chainsaws.......

SPECIFIC Insurance like that isnt. Health and Auto of course is "budgeted" but the homeowners/renters just doesent work for me. Just that simple. Thinkin about chainsaws.......

Well-I move quite a bit. Sometimes 1000s of miles so I dont own a house...Renting is often short term..Insurance is not part of my budget usually. I just cannot afford it over and over at new places....be nice if i could deal with someone that has no interest in my domicile. Sometimes that is a trailer sometimes it is work-provided housing. Question: Can someone get insurance on a rig seperatly or without adding it to a renters or homeowners policy? What other options are out there? Thinkin about chainsaws.......

Flying aeroplanes versus jumping from them...
Pilotmonkey replied to LearningTOfly's topic in The Bonfire
With out question there is no substitute for either. Flying is its own rewards-i dont think i will ever get over the love of flight or the airplane im in. Righteous times having the door open and having everyone sling themselves out..Sometimes i just shake my head and laugh at the faces or antics of people dangling off out there. The same goes for jumping. Its nice to have someone else drive while i just lounge and stare around the plane focusing on jumping. Then i get to make the faces and do the dangling...Two different things with the same satisfaction. Thinkin about chainsaws....... -
Hey- That place can get WILD. Those guys are freakin crazy good timers, If you like the wilder side of the after-skydiving scene than that place is awesome. I was there a year ago for a while. I liked the place. Good, open landing areas on and off the airport..The dropzone itself was being attacked by the Airport Improvement Construction plan. Had the earth scratched up all around them. Everyone there was about ready for the big equipment to go away. They are good people havin great times. Thats the DZ I preferr in Virginia. There arent really any bad attitudes-I found everyone to be pretty damn frendly. Go have a blast... Thinkin about chainsaws.......

I believe Leading someone on. Big letdown to find secrets from the one you love. Gutwrenching feeling being "decieved" for the others selfish reasons. Thinkin about chainsaws.......

Put em in the h2o BEFORE you boil it. SLOW Rolling boil for 20 min just barley boiling. 20 min pass... dump out hot water douse with cool water..Boiling them SLOWLY for 20 min gets you more tender eggs without oxydizing the yolk making it bitter. Never thought i would be using that info on here... Thinkin about chainsaws.......

Hey! Thanks to "whatever" and Helge, I am using my camera for Memory Stick applications. I would like to know how , if possible, to use the camera as a web cam. How did you do it with your 101? I have the 110-seems the thing should work for that. Thinkin about chainsaws....... -

Use a Sony Camcorder as a driver? HELP?
Pilotmonkey replied to Pilotmonkey's topic in Photography and Video
I wasent really hoping to use it as a backup. More specifically i would like to take stills from video to the memory card and then from that to the computer. Skipping the remove the memory card and place it in the little card reader. Plug the camera in and upload from it. Thinkin about chainsaws....... -
Use a Sony Camcorder as a driver? HELP?
Pilotmonkey replied to Pilotmonkey's topic in Photography and Video
Okk no duct tape...hmmmm. I guess you did answer the question i asked. I was, however, hoping for something a bit more pertinant. I believe with your suggestion the resulting footage would lack clarity.....and i think attaching the golf club handle/camera ensamble to my helmet would get me restricted loading the plane. Get some good double takes..... Thinkin about chainsaws....... -
Use a Sony Camcorder as a driver? HELP?
Pilotmonkey replied to Pilotmonkey's topic in Photography and Video
Hey i purchased a mini dv camcorder used....I understand that it can be used as a driver on my 'puter. Is this possible with the software i didnt get with my camera? Can a digital camcorder be used like a webcam? Can i save images off the internet or hard drive ONTO the digital media in my camera? I hope someone knows something about this....Thanks Thinkin about chainsaws....... -
Hey, You didnt go wrong with those 13.4's I depend on mine and they havent ever let me down. I do recommend the Gel ear seals, cotton covers and the Bigger headpad. This stuff is pretty affordable and make a world of difference. Comfort is key. Those cotton covers wick away sweat and make the ear pads 10 times less itchy on hot days. The larger head pad supports the headsets more uniformly. Dont forget the headsets are framed with METAL and everyones noggin is a bit different. You can bend and tweak the band A LITTLE to loosen or change the way they pressure your ears. Take some time with the adjusting. I recommend loosening the slider bolts just a bit to allow you to position the ear cups and headpad where you want/need them and not have them slip when you remove the 'set from your head to tighten them down the rest of the way. With the accessories and adjustments on your 13.4s you should be quite pleased. Have a good flight and CONGRATS on the low hour Private rating! The national average for getting a Private Pilots certificate is 70 hours tt-NICE JOB! Thinkin about chainsaws.......
