In my experience, a PC just randomly shutting off like that is either an overheating issue or a power supply issue.

Played that game on a PW for well over 1.5 years. Have you checked the video settings in the game? I know features like Enviormental Shadows and whatnot can really put a hurtin on the performance. With that vid card/chipset i'd set most of the video settings somewhat mid-to-low in the game.
