  1. Am I the only one that thinks it the one olympic sport where it's appropriate to drink while playing? That's the only thing they're missing. Requirements for curling: Ice Stones Sticks Pub Table Bar stools Beer The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  2. We do have the new uniform over here in California and it's been selling like crazy... I don't get the big rush over here. It's not becoming mando until 2010. You'll still have to buy new ones from now till then. The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  3. I'll second that one!!! MXC Or Ninja Warrior... You just have to find an interesting outfit for the show. The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...

  5. Gastroenteritis; what a shitty thing to have. (No pun intended) It happens all the time in the Navy while they are on cruise. Every once and a while, it happens on cruise ships also. I hate the balancing act between puckering up while you are puking and then not knowing when it'll happen next... What a poopy day!!! The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...

  10. Anyone going to the MOAB boogie from SoCal that knows a cheap place to rent an RV from??? I checked the RVAmerica website and it lists about a $1000.00 for about a week. Anyone know of a cheaper company??? The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  11. I just got done taking my honeymoon cruise down to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas... I definetly agree with taking the Canopy/Ziplining Tour... Holy shitcakes, that was a fun time... As far as other dropzones are concerned, Ixtapa is the nearest one. If you can afford it, skip PV and go down to Cabo... I've been down there a few separate times and it's always a blast! I got a deal with my buddies through a travel agent for $515.00 down to Cabo... It was an all inclusive deal for 4 days, plane ticket, hotel, food, booze(at the hotel) What a great deal for such a great place. El Medano beach is pretty much right in the middle of the tourist district and that's where you can skydive. Skydive Cabo is just a few tent poles and a tarp that's parked next to Tabasco's bar right on the beach. The sand is beautiful and you land right next to the bar. Cabo has by far been the smallest dropzone I've ever been to but also has been no contest, hands down, the most beautiful DZ I've ever been to. Hope you have fun!!! Coach Rating

One of the best things I took away from my coach course was opening my eyes to what was happening on the jump. The ability to observe and recall what your student is doing in the air as well as on the ground is one of the key points in improving your skills as a coach and more importantly, their skills as a beginning skydiver. If you have the opportunity to do a course with Jay Stokes, his teaching style is very interesting and he'll ensure you have the knowledge and ability to begin your coaching career before you even get up in the air. Good luck with your pursuits!!! The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...

  15. Ok sorry, so does anyone have the Official Un-Official skydiving records book? Cd? Blue Ray? 8-track? Flux Capacitor??? I can't believe that of all of our crazy skydiving compadres, no one knows of a "Bob's List" of crazy shit people have done The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  16. Who know's Nekked Ryan at Skydive Santa Barbara? I'm trying to get a hold of him... The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  17. Official events and records would be good but I'm also trying to find out the goofy stuff too. i.e. Biggest Hoop Jump, Longest sit train, biggest naked big-way... I'm looking into trying to set a record for a certain jump but it made me curious to see what else had been set/broken. The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  18. Ahhhhhhhh.... Thanks for the BLACK DEATH.... Ohhhhh, kind of intimidating! Now on to the world records! The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  19. Does anyone have any book or website address that lists all of the skydiving records set/broken? I know Guiness Book of World Records has a few but it doesn't show all of them. I'm cuuuuuuuuuuurious!!! Sidebar- Also stupid question, what the hell does BSBD mean? Blue Skies Blue Days, Dingdongs, Dives, Debates??? The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...

  21. Those videos are amazing!!! There seems to be a guy in a blue free-fly jump suit in a lot of videos. His flying is spectacular!!! What's his name???? The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  22. That guy jumps out of Skydive Hawaii. His name is Jake. He's kind of a Dick until you get to know him. I did my first few tandems with him when I stopped by Hawaii. Him and Shaun Dunn can swoop the hell out of the landing area/beach down there. I got some great pics of them swooping. I'll post em when I get home today. 23. Not gonna be there but there are a bunch of fantastic things to check out there if this is your first time... Try Victoria's Peak or the Kowloon district. Delaney's Irish Pub is great along with the Wan Chai district's restaurants. Or just jump on the train, get lost, and explore wherever you end up. If you have the day, take the train to Lantau Island and take the bus to the world's largest outdoor bronze buddha. It's an amazing trip and you can easily do it in a few hours. There's buses that go up the mountain all day so you won't have any problem going up or down whenever you choose. Hope you have a good time!!! Cheers, Ryan The key to being a good teacher, is to be a good listener...
  24. So apparentely this was supposed to be a prequel to the Bond films. I just don't quite understand how Bond had just gotten his 00 status and yet they're making references to 9/11 etc... leading you to believe that this is all happening in the present day. Don't get me wrong, this Bond was a refreshing new look into the Bond series but I just don't understand how he had just recently received his 007 status and all of this is happening present day. Was there a time machine that Q made before he retired and died that Bond uses and we just don't see it in the movie??? J/K Someone explain this to me if you understand how this was possible... If you like Daniel Craig, by far his most amazing performances so far have been in Layer Cake and Munich. Definetly check em out if you haven't seen them already!!!
