  1. There was still just an office there went i went in june. I heard that it will take another year. I'm not sure where they will put it though? Will they takeaway the tennis courts?
  2. Well i'm back from Empuria tonight from a long weekend and had a fantastic time! Anyways, as for the luggage, it is a 20kg limit for checked in baggage which you need to pay 5 pounds for each way or 2.50 if you pay before you get there. As for the hand luggage, i bought my rig on board with no questions asked. The size of my bag is slighty over the limit and so was the weight. They never asked me about the hand luggage or even checked the weight and dimensions of it. I have flown 3 times now with rynair and brought my rig as hand luggage and never been questioned on any times. Hope that helps.
  3. I will be going to Girona tomorrow so i will let you know. I havent had problems in the past though. Last time i went to serville was at christmas and it was fine then too. Never have been asked or questioned about it when it got x-rayed. But always have the Cypress and CAA Letter ready. Fingers crossed i'll be fine again.
  4. If you are a graduate with little experience i guess you could use skydiving to help in answering some questions (where appropiate) you have no answers for. Whether thats a good or bad thing will probably depend on the interviewer. I'm a graduate and i use my experience in running the uni club and also to differienate myself from others. But i do wonder if i'm doing trhe right thing.
  5. I'm from the university of Kent (UK) and theres a club there but its very tiny. Hopefully this year we can make the club bigger and attract those new freshers! I think i'm the only licensed jumper there now, since the others have graduated! :( But we do have people that have completed AFF but not the rest of the console jumps. I wonder how many licensed jumpers that are undergrads in UK universities? is there ever a uk univeristy meet up of some sort?
  6. Yes i do remember meeting a wendy there. It was on new years eve that i met her! but i don't seem to remember it much! I'd love to come back for the pink mafia boogie but i'm totally out of money to travel anywhere at the moment!
  7. Well what ever you decide to do, i wish you all the best and luck. Enjoy life while you can. I know i would go for it being young myself, but i have too many things that tie me down at the moment. Good luck and hope it turns out good for you.
  8. Hi guys, I have just recently completed the whole AFF course in the beautiful place of Sebastian, Florida. Before that i had 3 static line jumps before i ran out of money and realised it's just too damn slow! I have now entered the world of skydiving and will definitely be jumping more! Living in Britain may make this a little harder though!
