  1. I have been warned against the pud by my rigger. It seems that there's more chance for something to go wrong. As a fellow Low-timer, I'd say talk to your rigger or available dz safety people if you're considering the pud.
  2. I personally won't jump if I feel funny about it. I'll stay on the plane if the wind picks up, If I don't feel like jumping any given day, I won't go. I learned my lesson when I wasn't one with my decision to jump and did so anyway (AFF level 4 I believe)... it freaked me out. It was really tough to come back to the DZ. You've gotta listen to your gut. Come out to the US. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice on dropzones, but good call picking DZ's with tunnels.
  3. I found it, thanks. A guy landed with his steering line tied in a knot... I cutaway in the same situation.
  4. I've been skydiving for more than a year now, near a hundred jumps (beer soon, I know). I've already had two cutaways, I've landed three miles from the airport, and I waited five months for gear that could have taken two weeks. A peppered skydiving career already. I've been told that there's a conversation going on on DZ.com that relates to brake malfunctions and landing procedures, and I'm having a hard time finding the post. My last cutaway was due to bad line stows, I wasn't able to release the right brake. I'd like to put my two cents in.
