With telekinesis you could do the Darth Vader throat crush of all the Admirals that disappointed you. That would be useful. Especially when watching C-SPAN. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! What music are you listening to RiGHT NOW, and what else do you like?

"Chronicles" and "Roll the Bones". The phrase "we're only immortal for a limited time" is one of my favorite sayings. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. Just finished "Dream of the Blue Turtles" and am starting some Rush. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left, and I'm ready for war." -
0:3:0 I'm my final coach jump, two solos, and a check dive away from my A. The bad news is because of finals I won't get to go again till the end of the month. Ordered/bought most of my rig/gear too. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! I was in the Army for 13 years, so the first thing I did once I was out was grow a goatee. With my black hair I look like either Satan, or an NHL (remember what that was) player. I'll have to get rid of it once I'm done with school. Something tells me the market for evil looking lawyers isn't too hot. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. Georgia bride-to-be fabricated abduction story

Better that he found out now, before he went through with the wedding. It's always best when the latent irresposablity/stupidity comes out before the contractual obligation sets in. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. No, no, no. It's: "Say hello to my little friend." Way cool. Have you shot it yet? ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left, and I'm ready for war."

Hand over Bin Laden or 100 Million Dollars??
mcarchangel replied to Conundrum's topic in The Bonfire
I know this isn't in the rules, but I'd take the money, kill him, and then hide the body. Why allow Bush to get the credit? Plus it's better for the war if he's still out there like Elvis riding the Loch Ness monster. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. 0:2:0 Two solos at Perris. The winds said no more after that. I am crawling towards my A. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left, and I'm ready for war."

A negative, CMV/CNV? (whichever I forget) negative. They call me every eight weeks because my blood is used for infants and people with suppressed immune systems. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. A negative, plus I'm CMV/CNV? negative, so I know when eight weeks go by because the Red Cross calls me like clockwork. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. Who do You Think was the Greatest American
mcarchangel replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
I have to go with the origional George. He had the chance to be king, and passed it up to be President for eight and then retire to his farm. He was the one irreplacable man for the colonies to become something more. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. I originally joined because I had a bad home situation and would not have been able to realistically go to college otherwise without the G.I. Bill. I was 18 and the Army offered twice as much money at the other services for college. Well, except the Navy, and they wanted me to glow in the dark for the money. I actually really liked the Army, I did 13 years total, and am going back once I'm done with law school. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. When I was stationed in Hawaii in the early 90s an artillery unit accidentally shelled a farm and killed a bunch of cows because the unit commander ordered them to fire before they had properly sited their guns. Also in 1989 at Fort Sill a Basic Training platoon was blown up by an artillary unit that put too big a charge into a gun. Several soldiers in the unit were killed as I recall. Basically it comes down to the fact that these are really large and powerful weapons, and any mistakes made with them will have tremendous consequenses. But they are still run by people, and people still make those mistakes. Everybody is a "professional" at something, and we all manage to screw up at our professions on occasion. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. Probably Claudia Kennedy. I knew her when she was a lowly Colonel in the Army. She eventually retired as a Leiutenant General (three star). I can't say I ever really knew her, I was a Specialist in her Brigade and the longest conversation I ever had with her was about three minutes one Christmas day when she came to see the people who were working that day and say hi. I saw her speak several times, saw her at meetings (where I was hiding in a corner quiet as a churchmouse). She was one of the best officers I ever met, and at her level she was as alone as anyone can be in the Army. We had three Brigade commanders during my time in the unit, and she was far and away the star. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. I have a daughter who's one and a half. I'd like two more children. I had my first landing on a full aircraft for my AFF3 flight that was supposed to be my third jump. Sex is actually better, but I'm married so I'd be in trouble if I had any. The ancient Muslem and Egyptian cartogrophers always put south at the top of the map. The prices are very good, but I have heard that the rifles coming out of the CMP are a bit worn nowadays. I would not get more than one at a time. Most/all worn parts can be replaced for relativly cheap. A good used rifle bought in a store can easily run $800-900 and the new ones are much more. ------------------------------------------------------- "These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days.
